Drove down from Canada 7 hours to visit where I lived years ago and this was my first stop. This was the first place I had a cheese steak, years ago in the 90’s. It’s as good as it was years ago. Now my whole family will be as disappointed with any other cheese steak. Lol, great food great staff great portions. Stop here for a quick bite if your in Princeton.
There is no better late night bacon cheese steak. Hasn't changed since 1980s, except be sure to order on line.

Checked the reviews 1st. Decided to go to Hoagie Haven. Sadly, the steak sandwich was disappointing.
Greasy, heavy, and absolutely amazing. The new electronic ordering system works incredibly smoothly. Highly recommend ordering mobile - there is no advantage to ordering in person on a kiosk. Waits tend to be less than originally projected, so don't panic when it initially says 45 minutes or more!
The new system at hoagie haven is unacceptable. The charm of this restaurant is getting in line, ordering your toppings over the counter, and walking out with your hoagie. Tonight I showed up and was greeted by a digital kiosk. I ordered while dissapointed for the lack of human interaction. Almost 10 minutes after paying and placing my order I received a text saying I order would be ready in 60-65 minutes. I proceeded to cancel my order. Thanks for ruining one of my most cherished college memories.
Very good hoagie. Bread was fresh, it had the right balance of meat, cheese and toppings. Certainly one of the better sandwiches around. The price was surprisingly reasonable, I think that it was about $6.50 for a half which is more than enough for most people. What a didn't really care for was you ordered it "Sheets" style. So you touch the screen check, the boxes, tap to pay and if there is not a box to check for what you want....or you can't find it....too bad. In fact we did not talk to anybody who worked there. Not a word, no "hello".....no "here is your order"....no "thank for coming"....not even a smile. I don't really mind, but there is no way a place like that ever gets 5-stars from me. Like I say in my profile, not everyone gets 5-stars but that doesn't mean you aren't good. That said, I would go back and if you are in the area and want a good sandwich at a fair price I'd say give it a try.
Love this place. I used to come here all the time, and over 5 years later it still holds up. I made sure that this was the first thing I ate once I stepped off the plane. Really good value for the price, tasty and big portions. Can't wait to come here again.
I mean, good value, but my veggie souvlaki patty was burnt. I get that they were trying to make it crispy, but it was a tad overcooked. I wish they offered a larger variety of drinks; most is either caffeine soda or super-sugary lemonade.
Very disappointed. Nothing special. The cheesesteak came with a small portion of meat. I had a big order.So as soon as the cooks read the order They started cursing in spanish complaining about the a big order. Not knowing I speak spanish.Never again.
