Another European review ov Princeton restaurants!I had a sumptuous meal in this place.Cosy, traditional.Good meat and nice selection. They don't serve alcohol (which make sense in a Turkish restaurant) but have some nice and unusual fruit sodas and yogurt (spicy) beveragesMaybe is 3.5 stars rather than 4 but nice idea for trying different food.

We stoper bu reis amazing restaurant during olur visit to Princeton University. Everything was delicious. Wonderfuk Turkish food Turkish kentine soup is great. Aldı cacık, shpherd’s salad was so good. Erdoğan and Berkay writers are friendly and good serving. Thames for everything.

I ordered delivery through UberEats, and the food was alright. Not terrible, but not great. The Combo Platter for $18 had at most only 1/4 cup each of hummus, tabuli, eggplant salad, cacik, and ezme. Again, it was not bad, but for $18 I kind of expected a little more food then what came in my partially filled 24 oz to-go container. The real reason I am giving my experience 3 stars though is this...I might be wrong, but when I order pita from a mediterranean place I kind of expect the pita to be "homemade" or at least shipped in to the restaurant from a bakery of sorts. Instead, I got some sad supermarket pitas that I spent $2 extra for. I guess in this case you get what you pay for.

One of my favorite places in Princeton. The food (I eat the Gyro only) varies in quality sometimes, which I think depends on how rushed the restaurant is. And sometimes it is very busy.I wish they could get a bigger place though. Sometimes it feels cramped.

Good food but terrible customer service. They are very rude. Definitely, I will never go there again.

The food was decent but not good enough to justify the poor service. We had to remind our server 3 times to get us a glass of water...refill? Forget about it. Restaurant was full to capacity and yet 2 of the 3 servers found it appropriate to engage in a very long (at least 10 min )conversation with one of the guests. The place is very small and noisy and tables are extremely close to each other. I did not enjoy this visit.

I absolutely love Efes food, topnotch epically. I order takeout on a regular basis. That said, the in house dining experience is stark. It's in disarray and it is cramped in the COVID times. Stick to take away and you'll always have a smile.

Worst service ever. On Jan 15, 2022, I placed an order online in advance to be picked up for my husband's birthday on Jan 22, 2022. However, when I arrived, I was told that they didn't prepare my order, because since it's an advanced order, I "was supposed to call", despite they already charged my credit card on Jan 17, 2022.As my husband and my two-year old were waiting for me in the car outside, I didn't want to wait for them to make the food, so I requested to cancel the order and get refund.First, they said to me "Just call your bank". I insisted that I want my refund, so they finally agreed and worked on their computer and gave me a receipt for refund. However, the refund never showed up on my credit card account (as today Feb 9, 2022), so I still ended up needing to call my credit card company.Throughout the process, I interacted with 2 waitresses/women who work there, and they spoke to one man who might be the manager about the situation; none of them even said one "sorry".

Visited recently. Sat inside. There for lunch, no ambiance very small place. 4 people for lunch. Service was ok, nothing special. Food was good. My gyro, however, had more shredded lettuce than meat. Pita was stale enough that it was cracking and didn’t hold together well. Rather sloppy eating.4 people and a automatic gratuity of 18% which included the TAX?? A joke. Not usually the standard procedure in a local, small place.Unfortunately I neglected to closely inspect bill and missed the automatic gratuity and left a 20% tip on top. Forgetting the bill and tipping mistake I made, I wouldn’t return to this restaurant anyway. It’s really a run of the mill luncheonette in a lovely town! A one and done experience.

Good Turkish food. Moderately priced. Large portion sizes
