That was the worst indian food I have had. I had it delivered from Uber and it arrived in time. However both the chicken Seekh kabob and Shrimp fried were Luke warm( the rice was cold en spots like they didn't microwave it enough). The flavor was missing bland. I could get plain pasta with more flavor and spice. They should be ashamed to sell this as indian food. Wasted $50 for food to throw in garbage. This is my first -ve food review, and I oreder indian food at least 2×week on business travel. And yes I am Desi by birth so know the difference

Bought chicken lollipop, shrimp 65, chilli fish, butter naan, garlic naan, kadai chicken, Hyderabad dum biryani, egg biryani. Lollipop and kadai chicken and naans are best. Shrimp 65 is not the way expected. Lot of flour. Chilli fish has no salt. Biriyani... Full cardamom taste. No biriyani taste. Not like biriyani at all.. cardamom masala rice. Cost is only for the location. Not for the taste. First time eating a biriyani with bitter taste. ??

Happy to have found Dvaraka. Placed was packed and I think we got lucky to get seated right away. Service was quick and everyone was courteous and knowledgeable in guiding us with the menu. Portions were decent. Loved the serving dishes. Food tasted very good. All the accompaniments tasted fresh too. Loved the Iranian chai at the end. Definitely check out Dvaraka.

Place is at witherspoon, decent location nice ambience and most importantly clean. Service was quick, people were really nice to us !They welcomed us with a bowl of papad that was so good ! We ordered panipuri, that was too americanized i would say , pani was more like chutney and puri was just okayish. Next we had was salty lassi which was way too much satly but they replaced it fir us good part. Next we ordered chicken monchow soup and that really nice !For main course we ordered Garlic naan, never had so soft and crispy naan in New Jersey so far! For curry, we ordered kadai chicken that was no where felt near to kadai chicken that came with complementary rice and they really have toned down the spices ( probably for non indians ) quantity felt little less too.Lastly, we ordered Biryani and that was best of all. Right blend of spices , chicken tasted good and quantity was also really good.Overall place is worth a try !

Decent Indian food for the most part, but they really tone down the spiciness. They have the least spicy chicken vindaloo I have ever had - it seems to be just tomato and vinegar, no heat whatsoever. We asked for it to be spicy too!

Great location (off Witherspoon), clean interior, reasonably good food i.e. No over the top spice, their regular level should be okay for most folks like Indian food. Ordered 4 dishes chicken chetinad, butter chicken, chicken korma and lamb vindaloo. You can skip vindaloo (too much tangy) and butter chicken was also I think heated more than required ( butter had given up it's creaminess and instead had become oil) but can give it a pass since it was rush time. I will repeat Korma, and chetinad. If you want little bit spicy ask regular plus (only tried regular).I will update for more, I will try them again.Thank you for the location. Keep up serving the community... Good luck.

I and my family loved Dvaraka for its very delicious Indian food and very friendly people taking care of their customers.when in Princeton we will always eat at Dvaraka. Their Pani Puri is the best in town. And they really make sure that you get exactly the right level of spicy food that you requested. Thanks to the Owners ,the Chef and Servers for a very Happy Experience. ?

Gem of an authentic find, in the lane right in front of Princeton University main campus. It appears it recently changed its management and have refreshed menu choices. Only had the opportunity to try non- vegetarian lunch special and it was outstanding …- even though it was lunch special, curry’s were made to order to my taste- owner/ staff was extremely courteous, not just to me but to all guests they were servingAreas of improvement could be a bit work on decor , making it either simplistic but elegant OR bringing in the Indian experience. Will be the go-to place, next time I visit this city/ university.

I ate at Dvaraka last night. Princeton’s newest Indian restaurant on Witherspoon. Fantastic spot with great service and even greater food. The staff was so friendly, they gave us an extra dessert. I really enjoyed it and will go back. My friend ordered the goat curry and said it was the best goat he has ever eaten.

Delicious! My favorite local Indian food! The lamb josh and butter chicken were so good. The menu has so much to offer as well I look forward to going back. Worth the price.
