This is the second time I am reviewing Blue Point Grill. We frequent the restaurant soften and it never ceases to amaze with its deliciously fresh fish and wonderful service. My boys and I went on a Tuesday night and had the best oysters we’ve ever had. The sampler is a must if you are an oyster lover. The jalapeño lime shrimp is also one of the best appetizers on the menu. I had sea scallops with baked sweet potato and my sons each had the grilled tuna and blackened mahi. All of us enjoyed our meals thoroughly. It was beautiful eating outside and we loved our server. Don’t miss the rooftop!

My husband and I were in town for his track meet and he said we could go out somewhere, I didn’t want to go to a chain restaurant and found blue point grill, and I was in the mood for fish so this looked like a good choice. Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed I got the tilapia with a house salad, and oh the dressing it’s made in house and amazing! My husband got the clam pasta and he said it was very good. We had Nikki M as our waitress and she was great. Everyone is very attentive and makes sure to fill up your drinks. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

When I first walked into Blue Point Grill, the maître d’ asked whether I preferred the dining room or the roof. I requested his recommendation and without a word, the hostess led me outside around the side of the building to stairs. On a clear evening with the temperature around 70, the combination of an upbeat crowd and a view over Nassau Street was perfect. I ordered the Alaskan Sable. One of my dinner companions selected the Florida Mahi Mahi and the other the Florida Red Snapper. The verdict was unanimous: well prepared and simply delicious. We all landed on the same dessert, Flourless Chocolate Lava Cake and again, we all were in consensus that it was delectable. Service was friendly and attentive. The only flaw was the bread brought to the table was a little on the stale side. My recommendation is when you are in Princeton, make Blue Point Grill your Best Friend for Fish.

Amazing seafood place!! Not cheap, but absolutely the best seafood I have had. They had over a dozen choices of fish, and they prepare each according to your request. Depending on your choice of fish, the cost for an entree may be anywhere from about $25 to almost $50.Their sides are also amazing, especially the creamed spinach, brussel sprouts, and garlic mashed potatoes.Portions are generous but not overwhelming. I almost always take something home, because I want to leave room for dessert! They feature premium ice cream from the Bent Spoon, and a variety of other deserts like key lime pie, creme brulee, chocolate cake, and much more.

Food was very tasty. Definitely recommend the shrimp dumplings and the steelhead trout. The crab cakes were excellent and the service was phenomenal. We went there to celebrate my Dad's 60th and they really went above and beyond for us. If you want quality service and food this is the place to go.

Very good seafood restaurant. Great choice of fish and fresh oysters. I particularly liked clam chowder and grilled shrimp with absolutely delicious sauce! You can bring your own bottle of wine, which is very nice.

Our waitress was super helpful and detailed. We love that she knew all the specials ? to top it off she made our BYOB experience special upon our arrival she was ready with ice and a bucket for our ? wine. She offered to open our bottle ?Now the FOOD!!!!! ? every bite was amazing ?For appetizer we had the guacamole with fresh lump crab meat served with warm fresh multicolored chips so yummyFor my entree I chose crab cakes rice I forget what vegetable. My wine choice was a white sangria very fruity and sweetFor his entree he chose fresh salmon mashed potatoes and I forget what vegetable I don't think much about vegetables huhNot sure what the price was guys sorry

Great place and great and unique fish options. This will be a fish lovers delight. Their portion size is huge! Can be easily shared by two! They offer a unique menu, with Fish that is absolutely fresh, almost like they just caught them. The fish is so tender and melts in your mouth. An amazing place and amazing experience. Would highly recommend this place to all.

Good portion sizesYou get free bread and butter when seated, it's what you would expect from bread and butter.I got the swordfish with sweet potato fries. Swordfish was done nicely, but could use some more seasoning and I don't think they listened to me when I said to cook it mid rare (hard to see with the lighting but it tasted fully cooked). Sweet potato fries and sauce were disappointing. They weren't fully cooked through (weird texture after biting into them) and very floppy, probably microwaved and/or not fresh. Sauce was just straight salt, no other flavour. My parents got blackened cod and that was seasoned better than my swordfish. Rice they got was also better, but salad was sub-par.Overall, the food is decent and hit or miss and sides weren't great. Seafood is just good, but not worth the price.

Our entrees were amazing! Highly recommend the Arctic Char. However, we ordered the clams casino appetizer and it was not quite what would be expected by most people, there are no bread crumbs or crunch at all, and it was mostly a peppers and onions topping. They were just okay.We ordered the chocolate chip bread pudding for dessert, and it was very obviously microwaved. For $9.00 for a small slice of it, it was disappointing that it was cold and then only hot in some areas. We were celebrating our 5-year anniversary, and I put that in the notes of the reservation. Nothing was done to acknowledge it, which is fine, but it truly would have been nice. I would understand that they might not if it was very busy but it wasn’t, it was a moderate Wednesday night.
