I visit A&B from time to time. Generally pleased with my visits. This time I ate outside in the alleyway where they had tables as it was a nice day.The lunch menu was very brief and I struggled to find something I really wanted.I settled on the fresh pasta option and would not get again. It was a small serving of wide noodles with cooked onions. Definitely odd. I like onions but really only ate the pasta. It had no real flavor. My daughter ordered the chicken appetizers and it was 8-10 chicken legs that looked like they had been shake and baked. They were odd too. There appeared to be only one server, who was very polite, but he was running around and they seemed under staffed.Maybe lunch is not their strong meal. Will probably not do that again.

Had a few good beers here and a plate of nachos to split. The nachos were truthfully very weird to me- the chips were covered in dry toppings and once you got into the center of it is where there was some kind of melted cheese sauce? It didn’t taste bad, but it was not what I expected. Also, the server was extremely nice but a little over zealous to get us our order and came over 3 times in the first 5 or so minutes of us being there to ask if we were ready. While I appreciated how on top of her job she was, it was a bit too much for me and I felt rushed right off the bat.

ATTENTION! ALCHEMIST & BARRISTER NOW CHARGES 3.5% CONVENIENCE FEE WHEN USING A CREDIT CARD FOR PAYMENT. CASH WILL NOT INCUR THE CHARGE.A & B has started "Happy Hour" again. Hours are 4-7 with $5 drinks (limited choices) and is ONLY available when seated at the bar. There are about 20 seats around the bar so plan accordingly. The sangria was tasty...sweet and not much wine but was served as a nice full glass. Food is generally good. I recommend the sliders ($12), pretzel bites ($8) and Buffalo Chicken tenders ($7) from the bar menu. The basket of fries ($7) is good too. Service was OK. Apparently only your assigned bartender can assist you. Inquires made to alternate bartenders will be relayed to your bartender for disposition. IF we go again we will be bringing cash. Forking over an additional 3.5% when you are already paying $5 for a Bud Light is just not right.

This place is the worst! Ordered a bar pie that looked like it had seen better days. Not to mention it was microwaved but still nice and cold inside. My date ordered chicken wings that were also horrible. If you don’t have a palate this is the place for you.

The service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry. The food and beer was great. The brown cinnamon sugar dry rub on the wings was spectacular.

Food was good, a bit over priced in my opinion. I had to ask to get the wobbly table fixed which doesn't impress me. They had a lot of drink options for beer lovers. Staff was friendly and helpful

Worst service we’ve had in a long time, don’t waste your time here. They only serve soft and cold pizza’s, look at my photo attached, a four inch pizza for 16 bucks. Service takes forever even though they have plenty of staff, they all gather on their phones at the corner of the bar and share phone videos all night. So basically our microwaved pizza took an hour and a half from start to finish, there’s also one unisex bathroom that’s destroyed.

Two separate lunch burger orders were not only wrong, but both orders were received cold. Requests for coffee was made 4 times before being received and only after the lunch was nearly completed. It should be noted that the restaurant was almost empty when our order was placed, and it was not very busy at any time during our meal. There was no attention to service. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Had a terrible experience. Very rude and unprofessional. My friend had an emotional support animal and not only they asked for the certificate, but asked all sorts of personal question and finally denied the entry even after looking at the certificate. There were two kids at the entrance and then the guy claiming to be a manager (Jonathan) was exceptionally rude and unprofessional. He not only raised his voice but also denied to give any details of the owner. They better bloody lean how to talk to people with special needs. I would hate to be at such a place.

Went with a friend who has special needs and a service dog and these guys asked all sorts of questions and humiliated him. Not only that but after asking for the manager he continued to humiliate us. Would not recommend at all. Please learn to treat people with respect
