A friend and I had lunch there today. He's had Spano's before numerous times, and I never had. To find a pizza similar in look/taste to L&B Spumoni Garden's "Flip Flop" pie is hard. There are some places locally who do it, and Spano's pie tastes very similar! The taste in the sauce was extremely rich.

Amazing pizza+ the Buffalo chicken probably the best in my opinion , but will be coming here until further notice to try the whole menu.
Great owner....makes most of the dishes himself! Impressed with the good quality of the food and very reasonable on pricing. Great varied selections on menu and portions are a very generous size!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I tried the NY style pizza and we rate it an 8-9. The sauce is a rich plum tomato sauce and the cheese is fresh mozzarella. The service can leave a little to be desired. I felt rushed ordering and when we said we'll dine in, it was almost like we were inconveniencing the staff by sitting in the dining room and then asking for paper plates to eat our pizza. Also there needs to be public restroom. I will say that there is a night and day difference between Joe Spano's Tomato Pies and Spano's Ristorante Italiano. Still we'll be back.
They don't deserve any star. The service and food are terrible!They charge like if they were a good restaurant but I never had food served like this.I will never recommend this restaurant not even to a person a dislike. For real this restaurant is the worse in that town.
