great ice cream,and staff. The place could use some cleaning and maybe power wash out front. Will always return, yum
This is the best ice cream place at the shore. My uncle is obsessed and when I was a kid would drive over an hour to come here before turning around and driving home. I usually get cookie dough but their fudge is good too!

Amazing ice cream! We went about a half an hour before they closed and the line was nearly out the door but they got us through quickly. I ordered the Jersey monkey (banana ice cream with chocolate and peanut butter) and my boyfriend got the cookie monster (vanilla ice cream dyed blue with Oreos). It was so good! I live out of state but will definitely return anytime I'm in NJ.
I've been enjoying Hoffman's ice cream for more than 50 years! Yikes! Last night enjoyed almond turtle and sea salt caramel. Just the choice after a delicious dinner at Shore Fresh Seafood!
Super creamy. Busy but run extremely well so the line moves fast. Delish.
Service was very nice and food was great. We got both regular and soft serve ice cream in which were both really good. Place was also not too busy which was nice on a Thursday night. But it did seem a bit pricey for the amount of food you got, in my opinion.
Have been going to Hoffman’s for years, not only have they cut back on the sizes and portions they give , and raised their prices BUT I was in there yesterday and purchased the Easter ice cream cups. All the boxes were labeled 14.95 and they charged 16.95. When I questioned it I was told that the box was miss marked. When I explained that all the boxes in the freezer had the same price of 14.95 they still continued to give me a hard time and said well that’s not the price. Finally she reversed the transaction. Sundaes is close enough and point creamery is amazing!
Long time fan of Hoffman’s Ice cream taste is great but 2 scoops of ice cream is more like two tablespoons of ice cream, disappointing that they cut back so much, raise prices if u must but don’t give much less then what customers are used to getting
