I truly enjoy this place. It gives everyone an idea of what Plainfield could be, one day, maybe. Though I think their prices are on the high side, well, who's aren't these days, the quality of the coffee, the pour or pull and the food speak for themselves. Each time I walk in here I have some nostalgia for my first days in Plainfield some 50 years ago when the last vestiges of the Queen City were still here. I can only hope that all the new apartment developments that are on the books near or in downtown will create the renaissance everyone has been waiting for. I'm doubtful, but hopeful. Regardless, take a minute and go here for some coffee. It'll give you a taste of what things in town might be, one day, maybe.

Was excited to find this cute and modern coffee spot in downtown Plainfield. My cappuccino was perfect with lots of foam and my boyfriend said his iced latte was also well done. They have indoor and outdoor seating options and overall just a very nice atmosphere.

This place is beautiful! The decor so gorgeous and the setting inside so relaxing. My husband and I had a little coffee date on an early morning. The barista was very nice and welcoming. The coffee needed more sugar; like a lot, she made me a caramel iced coffee, but I didn’t taste the caramel. The cheese danish delicious!!!The banana bread very delicious!Definitely recommend this place. So clean & quiet area.

What a lovely spot for coffee! It was love at first sight as soon as I walked in. The interior was just so fresh, open and beautiful. Obviously i took a ton of pics! LolTo start the day, hubster got a latte and I opted to get a cortado for a change. I always get flavored latte so I thought I'd try something different. I'm glad I did, the cortado was bold in flavor but delicious. Good ratio of milk and espresso for sure! The latte art (or cortado art) is of course a big bonus. We love latte arts after all!Queens City roasters also have beans by the bag but unfortunately we needed our beans grounded for espresso and their grinder machine didnt have that option today for some reason. Too bad we couldnt bring a bag of beans home. That didnt damped our spirits though.Hope to be return again someday soon!!

really nice neighborhood coffee spot, they have pastries, bright lighting and seating, alternative milk options, tea. They roast their own beans that you can buy in store or online. the staff are really nice and they usually have a local artist featured on the wall and a food or charity drive you can contribute to.

One of the top 5 best coffee shops I've been to so far. Although Plainfield is a little run down, this coffee shop is really new, it looks great, and they serve a awesome assortment of drinks. The staff is really helpful suggesting what drinks to have. Definitely stopping in and checking it out!

Hands down one the best coffee shops in NJ in my honest opinion! Been coming here constantly and every time the staffs are welcoming along with a high quality of coffee they served. Grew up in NY all my life and this is by far the closest thing to a great coffee shop!

A cool little coffee shop on a side street in Plainfield New Jersey the staff was very friendly. I love that they have the history of Plainfield on the walls of the cafe because it's a city with a lot of history. The coffee itself is very good I got the light roast to go. I would definitely go again and also recommend it

Relaxing, industrial vibe, wood slab tables make it a fun place to enjoy a cup of coffee with an eclectic city vibe. Serious attention to good coffee with a nice selection of unique offerings like their Spanish or Honey Oat Latte. Pastries and now some small food nibbles available for a light breakfast/lunch. Mixed crowd of customers from old and young, students and business people. Art exhibit changes regularly on large brick wall makes Queen City Coffee a family owned gem worthy repeat visits.
