Every time I come here (or the Central avenue location) I get a different story of why the espresso shots are differently sized or priced; but the espresso is good, so even though they are shockingly more expensive than even a Starbucks espresso, I normally endure the confusion. However, I must have been to this Dunkin donuts like 100 times, and after waiting 15 minutes in the drive through, my debit card was not swiping, and they wouldn't give me the espresso so I could park, retrieve my cash from my purse in the trunk area and pay them. What? Instead I had to park, go inside, stand in line again, and then reorder my espresso, which took another 15 minutes for them to prepare. BUT forgetting that display of mistrust, when I asked them why they couldn't just give me the espresso and I would be right back in 5 or 10 minutes, I really didn't want it to be just throw it out (as I had already handled it, that is what would be expected anywhere!) THEY SAID "We can't just give it to the customer, we have to put it back in" just in case that's disgusting, and red flag to a health inspection. I could understand being anti-waste but that sounds unsanitary and illegal.
Great sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant. Enjoyed a vanilla cream donut also. Line really moves quickly. Very well trained staff.
There should be an option to give ZERO stars. Never going to this pace again. They always mess up the order , This has happened 3 times. First 2 times I gave verbal feedback and hoped they would improve, but no change.
I know it's not something to get upset about but the sales rep never gave me my free birthday drink when it said so on the receipt. I believe she was confused at the fact that I paid with a gift card . Regardless she passed me off to another employee and he didn't know what was happening, I ended up having to get back in line through the drive thru and pay for another drink that should have been free .
DO NOT GO TO THIS DUNKIN DONUTS!!! There is another Dunkin Donuts few minutes away in Fanwood. I rather go there or 7-Eleven down the street has Donuts and Coffee too. Also, there is WaWa on south ave which is 2 minutes away from this Dunkin Donuts. The middle age Indian lady here is very rude and has the worst attitude. I've been to many different dunkin donut locations but this location is the first one that I would not recommend anyone to go to. I was with my husband and children. I don't really buy fast food for my children so that's why my little children sometimes takes little extra time to decide what they want when once in a while we take them out to eat and because of that, they may change their mind more then once. I didn't want my children to rush to order because of that reason I wanted to go inside and order but the lobby was closed, we had to go thru drive thru and place an order. This young African American girl took our order. She was patiently taking our order but when I was letting her know that we wanted 1 strawberry glazed with sprinkle, 1 chocolate glazed with sprinkle, 2 chocolate frosted and 2 chocolate glazed without sprinkle donuts but she was little confused she thought I wanted 3 chocolate glazed with sprinkle so I said it's okay. Whatever you got I want total 6 donuts while I was finishing my sentence I heard this middle age Indian lady in the back hurry up and order there is a line. When I heard her say that I was so annoyed. I said to the young lady I wanted 1 bagel with egg and cheese and 1 bagel with cream cheese. Then we drove to the window because I kept thinking about the lady in the back telling us to hurry up. When we got to the window our order wasn't done so I said to the young lady that came to the window can I please add munchkin so she added and told us our total then she proceeded to tell me we can't add anything at the window because that middle age lady told her not to add anything to our order. I was so furious so I asked young lady the manager’s name and she said Rinku and then I asked her tell that Indian lady to come to the window and talk to me and explain why she wouldn't add munchkin to my order I was giving them my business but she refused to add munchkin to my order and refused to come to the window and talk to me. She didn't have a gut to tell me to my face but instead was using this young people to tell me, what she wanted to say. She's a bully. Dunkin Donuts needs to take this location and make someone else a franchise for this location. This middle age Indian lady should not be working where she has to deal with people. I am hindu but I never talked to anyone like the way that Indian lady talks to people. I am a manager and I've been working in customer service industry for big companies for 20+ years. When I am helping people and covering register, when staff is taking their break. There are guests that will wait in a line for 5 to 10 minutes and when they finally come to the register to order they don't know what they want and take another minute or two to decide and I wait patiently to take their order because I know how sometimes we all have that moment where we can't make up our mind and order as soon as it's our turn to order.
I want to give them 0 stars for customer service, you can't want to serve people and be rude this is not for you. Indian lady took our order I told her I'll like white mocha she said I dont have that with an attitude! With an attitude I told her on to hold on she started making sounds tru ? mic, im like really I ask for another drink wen I reach to counter for my drink it was added to my bill I told another Indian lady that my order is missing a drink they jus looked at me as if my mad that not on my bill I'm like well I guess the lady didn't charge it on bill but I srill want my drink its not my fault she didn't charge it, she still didn't take it in their heads to offer the drink even if I have to pay it poor customer service and their attitude stink!
This is one of the most unsanitary DD locations I've been to so far. The employees use the same gloves when dealing with money to prepare food. I witnessed one worker sneeze around the doughnuts and didn't even attempt to use hand sanitizer or wash her hands, and when asked to put on gloves she refused and continued to use the wax paper. If anything at least attempt to appear that your business practices cleanliness. The Plainfield Health Department has been called twice on this establishment. Stop driving the drive thru and go inside so you can see for yourself. Proceed with caution!! ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️
They make a great cappuccino, not bitter like you'll get at some Dunkin donuts.
This place is different than any other Dunkin’ that I’ve been to. They’re just slow, lazy and don’t care. Except the nice Muslim lady that always has my order right and ready for me. When she’s not working it’s mess there.
Friendly young man at the drive up window. Pretty consistent and expedient on their orders.
