Staff was friendly and they served us food within a decent time ( less than 10 mins ). We ordered both Veg and Non Veg items and both were super Yummy and fresh! The Biryani I loved it too much, but my husband didnt care much for that ? but overall a great experience with economical pricing too! What more can you ask for!!
I decided to enter for the first time after driving several times by it and when I went in nobody was there to provide me service and the employee was sleeping in plain view of the public. I even made a point of opening and closing the door somewhat loud enough to get him to wake up but he kept sleeping. With my experience there maybe I shouldn’t bother to see what the food is like lol
A good place for desi halal food. Service was good . Food was good. They have 2 restrooms, big parking lot in front of the store. Price was average.
Fresh naan, delicious mughlai chicken, tasty Tikka masala chicken, reasonable prices. Had a craving for Indian food and my husband comes here with friends once in awhile. Modern simple interior. Worth the drive.
This place used to be great, but when I came here recently the food wasn't as good as before. The worst part though is that when I went into the bathroom they had a sticky mouse trap with live mice in it. Obviously they have a mouse infestation. I could understand if maybe it was one mouse that came in and they had put a trap out, but there were multiple in that trap and still alive and screaming. Multiple mice is likely due to uncleanliness. It's disgusting that they would leave a mouse trap out where their customers can see it. I never had an experience like this before at a restaurant and hope I never do again. Hopefully people will see this and avoid going there. It's really a shame though considering how great it used to be.
We live an hour away but love coming here for authentic Indian food. We had the Gobi Manchurian with extra fried onions, goat biryanis and goat sukha, all delicious! This place never disappoints. The staff is also very kind and helpful. :-)
Chicken was smelly and rotten in both chicken biriyani and chicken mughlai. I had to throw away both dishes. I called the restaurant twice, and I was assured that the manager would call about my concern. However, no one called back. Bad experience.And why boiled egg in chicken mughlai???
Ordered paneer biryani and got vegetable biryani. Thanks to the owner was helpful and placed new order.

This is by far my favorite Indian spot in Edison! The food is always so flavorful, and they actually listen to the spice level you request. I order delivery from them consistently and I have never had a bad meal from Persi’s!
