We love going to this location as a family, friends and even for office lunches/snack/dinner. Each time the quality of food, the taste is so consistent and homely. The staff and the manager Jimmy they are very courteous and professional at the same time.We have had a catering for our sons Grad party and in the past for house warming party our guests loved it !!Highly recommend this location/joint for a good north Indian food experience.
Do you have a cousin in the family who is unknown to most of your relatives? You will relate to this Mithaas location in Piscataway compared to its grand cousins in the Edison and North Brunswick locations.I’m surprised with the mixed and mostly bad reviews. This is the closest to our home and can make quick runs to it when we have unplanned guests coming home. We've had only sweets (desserts) and some chaat items taken home from here and looking forward to dine for a lunch or dinner meal soon.They have a clean restaurant with a huge parking and the staff are very receptive to your questions and requests. The taste without even having to mention, is outstanding.If you are new to Mithaas and have no clue on what to try for the first time? Try the Kesar Badam Milk drink and you wouldn't stop with just one!
We had function at our place, as we had good experience in the past, I went to Mithaas Piscataway and met Jimmy. He very courteous, professional, and suggested some wonderful dishes for my function. As I was the only person to take care of guest it was difficult for me to go and get the food. Jimmy helped me by sending a gentleman (my bad, I forgot his name) at my place, he came set everything and left, excellent service. All my 30 plus guest were very happy, very good quality food, at a reasonable price. I will be going to Mithaas in the future for all my catering need.
I had fever so we ordered simple dal tadka and paratha from Mithas Piscatway. They gave us expired dal (Basi dal). As soon as I opened the lid, I could smell the dal went bad. No one should consume this kind of food. Very very disappointed. By the time I went back to them, the restaurant was closed. I hope this never happens to anyone any time. They should be mindful about others health. Could not trust them anymore.
This is a great place for good food at a good price. There is a wide selection of foods. There is also great service and the staff is very friendly. If you want to have food for a party, they can do it. There food is in generous portions and can be delivered to your event. They also have the food ready in a fast time. I absolutely recommend this place.
Good place to get Indian delicacies. A variety of deserts and sweets to choose from. The chai is worth a shot.
Ordered a Bombay vegetable grillled sandwich and it is literally bread with a slice of cucumber, beet, and tomato. No chutneys, no taste. I paid $9 for three slices of bread and three slices of vegetables.Response to Mithaas: I did not request any changes to made to my sandwich. Perhaps they delivered it to the wrong person. I don’t think I will risk ordering this sandwich again as it was awful and do not want to spend $9 for it!
Ordered dosa they gave dosa separate and masala separateThe dosa was cold and potato’s were staleThis location should be closed down and franchisee should be taken away. It’s giving a bad name to MithaasI have tried other locations and they’re good but this was I couldn’t even eat it
Veg jafrezi medium spicy was boiled veggies with oil and chilli powder to taste. Not punjabi taste and not medium by any means.
Generally services are good over here but today we had a bad experience. We order the Jain food for to go and it was really not good in quality as well as they provided the curry which was made up of potatoes. When we called back rather than looking at their mistakes the behavior wise like this is what we shall expect with “complementary” curry - nothing is free this did not go well with overall customer service and experience. Some more empathy would hv gone miles!! Will NOT RECOMMEND!!
