We left out of Perth Amboy. The evening was okay. I would do another dinner cruise but not on this boat. Pro: the food was good and the staff were lovely. We had pasta, salad, entree was salmon and beef with green beans and mashed potatoes. Dessert was an option of tiramisu, chocolate cake, or cheesecake. The boat was clean. Cons: the boat is old and outdated. Very very cold onboard so bring a sweater. Drinks are expensive for what you get ($13), very little alcohol in them and they tried to over charge us for drink we didn’t have and tried to insist we did. After I pushed back they amended the bill. They add 20% gratuity automatically so you don’t get to chose how much to tip. I felt like I was on a three hour tour with The People of Walmart. Wouldn’t consider it a luxury or upscale experience. Take a pass.
The ship was decoratively awesome. They had look-like gold seats,look-like Italian tables,wine and water cups,and lastly,what the ship look like. This is impressive. There is maybe a 60-75% we will come again. For those who don’t know or will come to this place,There is 2 floors,very impressive(believe me,it’s in the pics), mirror roofs,cool lighting,for brunch and dinner,day and night,so if you need a cruise, you can go to this place of the AmTrak train. More information later in the end of July of my reviews or in their website. We had pineapple juice and water(bottles and glass) for the drinks. There were bugs and flys in the ship. So we used the REPEL Plant-Based LEMON EUCALYPTUS Spray. Anyway, I get pasta,rice,beef,sausage,beef,cookies,butter and bread. They taste very good. Even the bread is soft! I’mVERY IMPRESSIVE AND IMPRESSED.
It's like being at a wedding on a ship. Fun time, good dancing music, delicious food and sangria. Friendly people on the cruise.
Friendly staff, good food, smoothe sailing, all packed into 2.5 hours. My party had 27 people for a brunch/birthday celebration and we weren't made aware as to who our server was, making a few things a bit difficult and extremely delayed.BIG PLUS the DJ had a great selection of music, several age groups on the dance floor at once. I would recommend a smaller group to attend so the crew are able to tend you and your party more efficiently.
It was excellent time for us after 3 years horoball life when we lost parents due to pandemic period. Some happiness came to our life and rest. Music, food gave us positive emotions. It was like light in the end of the tunnel. Thank you very much for your service, menu was awesome. Meat and Salmon was delicious! Very good cake and coffee. What else you need to be happy and have a good time?
All was good ? except for the loud music, 90 to 100 decibels ? all the same type , it could have been changed during main course! Yes I would go again but quality the type ??
The dinner cruise was fantastic. I am returning for a brunch cruise. The staff is friendly.
