This is probably the best Salvadorian Food in the area! The environment is friendly and welcoming, but nothing matters if the food isn’t the highlight! Ommmmmg theeee best saźon ever!!!! You have to try their steak! Cooked to perfection! If you’re in the mood for pupusas this is soooo worth the drive. Love love love this family business! always so friendly!!!P.S. don’t let me get started on their chicharrón! ?
By far some of the best pupusas I have ever had. I usually order revuelatas and cheese. The pasteles and tamales de pollo are to die for. It feels like someone’s abuela is is in the back cooking. The staff is friendly and always willing to give a recommendation if you don’t know what your in the mood for. If you want a drink their bar has amazing sangria. I promise this place will not disappoint.
I order papusa’s Yesterday and they literally gave me just tomato sauce when I asked if they put in the curtido “pickled cabbage slaw for them” the girl said yeah yeah it’s in the bag… I get home and it wasn’t even in the bag. Like this was my first time ordering from you guys and failed to ensure I was a satisfied customer….
Would not recommend coming to Pupusa Loca of Paternson at all, go somewhere else.The server/bartender was extremely rude. The drinks tasted like water and when we brought it up to them they charged us extras without telling us. We asked for a dessert and he didn’t want to sell it to us because they were closing in 10 min. We totally understand that and we were going to take it to go but his attitude towards us made us not buy it. Overall the service was alright, the food was okay not every tasteful, drinks terrible, and the server/bartender terrible.
Authentic & freshly made pupusas.Here is some therapeutic advise, my wife and I have gotten colds and besides a home made Caldo de Res(beef soup) this place makes and serves a great Caldo de Res that will put you back on your feet in no time. Highly recommend it.

Been here before to dine in. Pupusas is what we come here for. Made a take out order. Ordered 12 pupusas was only given a small curtido!! For 12 pupusas. Then also ordered a large horchata and they never gave it to me. Charged me. But didn't made it in my order!!! Very disappointed!Ordene 12 pupusas y me dieron un pequeño envase de curtido!! Y para matarla me cobran por mi horchata y no me la entregan con mi orden!!
