Excited to eat at Mi Familia Restaurant. The food is Authentic and flavorful! I've been coming here for so many years. As you walk in your are greeted immediately, the staff are very attentive. I was there last week ordered white rice with beans oxtail and barbeque pork spare ribs. Food was delicious!!! Not to mention this is where I get my churrasco (skirt steak) with tostones and freshly squeeze orange juice. Stop by Mi Familia Restaurant and enjoy some Dominican Soul Food!!
This place is the worst restaurant I have been my entire life. Even though, I ordered take out. I was there tonight. 08/05/2022. First, the server was drinking alcohol. Then, the service was the worst experience ever, the energy was horrible because client was complaining about his other and he mentioned he was first. I was interrupted while I was speaking, also, server was ignoring us. I requested sauce on the side she did not want to provide just because she said prep person should make it. Finally, the server was Gossiping about me with another client, in front of me, and my family member. This is worst restaurant and customer service experience I ever had in my life,
My cousin Luis and I went tonight to this restaurant. It was our first time, we ordered take out. A lady with 5’ 3” approximate, Latina, black hair and dark skin complexion was our server. This server was drinking beer while she was checking us out. This lady was saying bad things about us in front of us with other customer. Service was super uncomfortable, and my Mofongo with shrimp has ranch dressing instead of the mofongo sauce. The mofongo was good but the service was one of the worst and unprofessional experience ever.
I have been coming to this restaurant since 2007 and I absolutely love it. The food is wonderful, it’s a family owned business, they’re very polite and welcoming. The service is great. Highly recommend it if your looking for authentic Dominican food!
Awesome restaurant with great service. I have eaten here multiple times whether it was dine-in, takeout, and we have had them cater events for us. Food is top notch and delicious. Highly recommend. To this day, people still ask me about their potato salad they made for a party my wife and I had.

I grew up eating at this place. You would think me living right next to the restaurant that I would of got tired of the food but no. MI FAMILIA restaurant has and alway had the best DOMINICAN FOOD in Paterson New Jersey. If your in the Paterson area be sure to stop in and get some good food .
