Hanging out in Kaohsiung, Taiwan without any Dominican restaurants, my friend and our family decided to meet up here and sample ALL the deliciousness. Plate after plate kept arriving with overwhelming Caribbean flavor and textures. The attentive staff was there to ensure every need was met with a smile. Of course we had more than we could finish in one sitting, but who could say no to dessert? Dulce de leche Cheesecake, flan, and tres leches cake...all in very generous portion sizes.Overall... Worth the 7000 mile trip.

Ever since I moved to Paterson a few years ago, I have not stopped going to Mama Elena’s. Being that it was a 5 minute drive from where I lived and the food and service has always been top notch!!! In fact, I moved further away and still visit Mama Elenas regularly. I definitely recommend!!! Nothing beats their service and prices.
