Update 07/03/2022. I guess they had a bad day 8 months ago because the last few times i ordered mac and cheese has been on point. So updated my rating to 5 stars. Okay Jon Jax is back.—————————————I’m not sure what happened. This used to be my favorite place. If they changed cooks, please get the original cook back. That cook knew how to make Mac and cheese. This cook doesn’t. Lately it has been days old dry noodles that has been stuck to the corner of the pan with no cheese. Why?
This place has great food. I wish I can pay for this place to be renovated. Great service, great food.
You guys make your way down to Jonjax the best soul food spot in the city of Paterson the staff are some of the sweetest courteous and most respectful people I’ve met they put the SOUL in soul food their food is made with love ❤️ Shrimp & fish combo Lemon pepper wings yams Mac & cheese with a side of banana pudding … if you haven’t tried their food yet I promise you won’t be disappointed your belly will be full and satisfied ☺️

Don't get me wrong with my rating the food is good I give it a 3.5 out of 5 but the need to remodel this place asap I mean seriously a can of paint will do wonders if there on a Budget but hey just my opinion
