Disgusting!! My 10 year old can cook better than this! Burnt pancakes that don’t even taste like Ihope pancakes and I ordered fries in which they only gave me 10 fries. Stay away from this place!
Paterson IHOP has an amazing vegetarian menu (if you request it) one of the chefs is plant based and she will create it for you.
The mall as well as ihop is cheap with its usage and materials . For example, 0 tablecloths, only 1 syrup on the table instead of all the flavors and no sugars on the table. The ac is off. If I didn't have my asthma pump this would have been hard but being there too long is difficult. This is on management and the mall though as I've been in this mall since 2009 and have seen the decline of many stores . I loved Marilyn though. She is new, tries hard and is happy . I'd go for her to be your server . They seem to have a lot of new ppl which means they can't retain staff .I heard many IHOP waitresses tell the patrons that they are new. I think they're doing great. I'd ease up on the music though and keep the bright lights on though, I love that detail! I go to far too many eateries that have dim lights. I'd return if the AC was on. Sorry I'm heat sensitive!
Love them, still needs to fire Ruben though, but sure why he's still there if they're trying to improve ?
Great service but poor with the food...my hashbrowns were not completely cooked and dirty environment...
I arrived around 10:00am - not crowded. I waited several minutes before being seated - no one consistently checks the front door perspective diners. Once I was finally noticed, a waitress (pregnant with dreads) came to the front and grabbed a menu. She walked me to a table and I thanked her. She made no eye contact and said nothing to me and just walked away. Before sitting I noticed the table was not clean. I didn't even sit. I walked out. I will not be going back as on each occasion the customer service was lacking, the food was overcooked.Lastly, stop customers from using their speaker phone while dining. Why other diners half to hear loud conversations, music, videos and games while dining. This behavior is IGNORANT ?
This place have completely fell off...the food isn't as good as it once was....I just spent 40$ and I'm not satisfied at all....the cook should probably move to becoming a server...or maybe give him alil more training.
It was a good experience . The servers are nice. Food was great.

Things have improved. Meal was excellent. Thanks Angie! When management attains good talent- customers like me notice and come back over and over again. The management here listens.
