Nice quaint place. Its been around since I was a kid in Grammer school. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I ordered shrimp scampi.....I will say it was very oily and the pasta was to al-dente, pretty under cooked shrimp was very good. This was a family reunion and everyone else seemed happy with what they ordered. As for myself if I ever go there again, I won't be ordering shrimp scampi.

Great service, absolutely amazing food, best Italian locally, have gone several times. Only negative was that the seating was super uncomfortable. Too tight a space for that many tables. The table to the left and right of us complained as well. We had to adjust the way we sat several times, and move our table to accommodate the people next to us, and to try and make ourselves comfortable. Removing one table would be a great answer to this problem.

The best Italian food. Never disappoints - old school vibe. We love it.

Home-style Italian restaurant! Herman, the owner, is a true American Dream story! Great service!

Really not what it use to be years ago. We were regulars there so often they greeted us on first names. Last few times seemed as if we were in a different place all together..I know the restaurant industry took a bad hit with Covid and help is hard to get forget about getting any good help.. but most importantly it was the food. The portions are still big but the quality had gone down hill fast .. if u are ok with just kinda average food this place is kinda ok but if you want bang for your buck there are many places within 20-30 minutes away that are far superior

Didn't like the atmosphere. Place was dark and empty. Started reading reviews and there were some bad reviews about the dish I wanted to order.

I haven't been here in a long time. I remember going there with my first husband. We would order the same dishes each time we came. I always looked forward to the stuffed artichoke.Herman was the best server. He was so warm and welcoming.I sure do miss this restaurant. The prices sure have changed a lot.

Decor was cold and dark. Food wasn't very good.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that the staff are overworked here because they have SHOVED...JAMMED... tables into these tight corners. Staff can't serve without bumping into other customers, customers can't get up and go to the bathroom without needing OTHER customers who are not in their party to get up so they can squeeze out. All very unsophisticated. Was the food great? No, it was good. Just not good enough to overlook the fact that they are very obviously doing the wrong thing in this current culture. Sure, no masks and whatnot, but why set us up to be on top of each other? Me and my party could not even open our menues fully at the same time without overlapping each other or knocking over drinks. It was just very uncomfortable. The lady next to us could not get up without two people in our party getting up and standing in the small aisles, holding up busboys and servers. You wanna fit us in? Give us a reason to wanna put up with it. And stop overworking your servers, who all seem to be on the older side. Have some respect for them. Meanwhile Betty somehow managed to find a small confection for my friend's birthday, and I think we overall charmed her in some way so she's ok in my book. I hope you pay her well because she saved our evening.

This place is absolutely delicious. I've been going here for years quality is always amazing!
