This place is so classic and I'm a little sad we can dune in here anymore and we have to go to the new spot. I like the old original feel of here and the memories I have here.On to the food, it's all delicious! They never disappoint. There are too many things to talk about but my all time favorite is the hummus. I will literally just order that. If I'm going to meet with friends or having people over, I'm definitely ordering some. It's just delicious and the bread is fresh and good that it comes with, but I like to eat cucumbers with mine.Their mint lemonade is an experience all on its own. It is fresh so it does have a little kick to it but it's good. The customer service here is great and they are all really nice. I have a few organizations that I am on the board of and when we have events we have Al Basha caterer it and everyone always enjoys the food.Great job guys!
I ordered a whole lamb last week with various sides for my baby shower, I was worried everything wouldn’t be able to finish on time, but it did. They helped my husband put everything in his car, Mahmoud was very helpful, he’s so kind and easy to talk to as he took my order, followed up with me about the food after it arrived at my house. By the way everyone loved the food, really organized, well decorated platters that blew me away. Thank you so much to Mahmoud and Albasha team for making the tastiest food for my baby shower.
This restaurant for me it's the best Arabic food restaurant in New Jersey I always try something new and every time they surprise me with their excellent food and wonderful customer service the only bad thing it's they're always busy and sometimes it's hard to reach to place an order but there's an option to order online and that makes me everything easier. I recommend this place 10/10
This is my new must go to place for anything catering. My new cousin Mahmoud took excellent care of my order for Iftar. It was executed just as I ordered and the precision in timing was on point. I highly recommend this place, it’s definitely worth it. Inshallah after Ramadan I will make a trip with the family to enjoy a dinner at the restaurant. Good job guys ?
Masha-Allah first time getting food from here and I actually got it for Iftar and Alhumdulilah very tasty. Customer service was very great too as well. Very big portions as well and that’s a plus because a lot of places offer portions for certain amount of people and only will feed a few to be honest.
Al Basha is my family’s favorite Philistine restaurant. We eat here at least twice a month and always leave satisfied. The new location on Crooks Ave. is always busy, especially on the weekends. Make sure you arrive early and put your name on the list.Everyone here is kind and respectful to all patrons from my observations. Amar, Wassim, Amon, and Muhammad are the best. Wassim takes the best pictures. Shukran for everything.
The mezze was amazing, but the chicken shawarma was a joke. How can they serve something so dry and old? A place with such a huge customer base serving old chicken is unacceptable. This is the 2nd time I get such bad quality chicken shawarma from this place. I’m gonna have to look for another place.
Best hummus around ( not joking), the chicken kebab platter is awesome and the whole charcoal grill chicken is one of the best deals on planet earth. The lebnae is also a family favorite.Catering service are amazing, just tell them how many people and they do the rest for a reasonable price. When I am in the area I call my order in and pick it up easy breezy for a great value and delish is food
Ordering simple via telephone. Staff was efficient and kind. Chicken kebabs, Arabic salad, hummus and mint lemonade were delicious as always. They forgot to FF in my order but was quickly added. Great service!
The food at AL Basha is always fantastic! However, the last few times I placed a take out order, I've had missing items. I ordered several orders of hummus (best hummus ever!), but they shorted me a pack of Pita. Very disappointing. I ordered a side of Tahini and the container was only filled half way. I asked for hot sauce and they said it was in the bag. When I got home, there was no hot sauce to be found. Very frustrating.
