I haven't eaten anything from Taps Deli yet but the food looks and smells delicious so I recommend you to come try this deli out for yourself if you haven't already.

Taps is something I look forward too in the morning.. If I break night n it's 4am I'm stay up just to have a bangin breakfast to put me to sleep.. Taps is so good I tell other ppl to try bc I feel like I'm crazy.. I almost eat it everymoring n I'm not tried of it.. What ever heaven I make it too I hope there's a taps there.. =-)
The food is pretty good I enjoy it when I do get to eat it . They do have a hard time answering the phone at the hours they say they are open. Not sure if the times just aren’t updated on Google but other than that give them a try
I am extremely disappointed with the food from Taps Deli. I ordered 2 turkey burgers & 1 chicken club sandwich with fries. The bread on of all the sandwiches were old & hard, the lettuce was wilted and dry. The sandwiches were exuberantly made sloppy. The fries were dry and not even warmed up. Whoever is in the kitchen making this food should be ashamed of themselves. This is my 3rd and LAST time going back to this restaurant.
Dear TAPS DELI. My husband and I visited your place this morning for the first time after seeing your commercial on TV. We had your fish, Mac n cheese and collards. It was delicious. We're originally from Brooklyn NY. We've been living in NJ for almost 8 years. We've been looking for a soul food place in NJ and we found it. We will definitely RECOMMEND your establishment to our friends. We don't have to ride to NY for good soul food
THE FOOD IS GOOD. BUT I THINK THEY SHOULD GIVE BIGGER PORTIONS (MAINLY THE SIDE ORDERS) THEY PUT IT IN A CONTAINER. THERE IS A PORTION OF POTATO SALAD, MAC & CHEESE, CANNED YAMS, ETC. THE CHARGE A LOT ALMOST $20 FOR THE DINNERS. THEY SHOULD GIVE ENOUGH FOOD TO EQUAL WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING. OTHER THAN THAT THE FOOD IS GOOD, TASTY! THIS IS JUST MY SUGGESTION AS A PAYING CUSTOMER. PLEASE FORWARD THIS COMMENT, ADVICE TO THE OWNER.
This is one of my favorite meals from Taps Deli. Oxtails, Macaroni & Cheese, Collard Greens and. Cornbread. Try and Enjoy!!
I saw the commercial. I saw the good ratings. But I wonder why the close so early? Also I don't see that anyone mentioned fried chicken. I see it mentions soul food. I'd like to try their food. I live in Essex county. But I only read reviews about fish and oxtails; not fried chicken. So I wonder if they make/cook it. Also I clicked on the grubhub menu to view it for orders. I don't see macaroni and cheese, oxtails on it. They should add those things. The reviews mentions mac & cheese, oxtails. But i don't see that on the grub hub menu for orders.
