They take forever with their food , the lady on the phone kept hanging up , when I called back she said no speak English , she was rude af , kept saying the food was coming the place is only 9 mins away and they taken over 2 hours for 1 hour !!! I should of just stayed with Jaimitos !! Never ordering from here again so so so rude and unprofessional
The staff is extremely kind, I’ve been to this restaurant before at a different location and it was really good but today the food had a weird taste. it didn’t taste Peruvian & the meat was too hard to eat properly.. the drinks were really good and authentically Peruvian though!
Everyone here has a nasty attitude. Very rude. Terrible service. Continues to speaks Spanish to you even when you tell them numerous times you can't speak Spanish. Just disrespectful. The low google rating does not lie. Stay far away. Zero star.
Terrible service and poor management. This establishment makes mistakes way too often, but what is worse is the way they handle it. I have ordered from this place before and I had to wait a little more than 2 hours for my delivery when I was told my food would be here in 45 minutes. I never get a phone call to get an update, and when I call everybody blames each other.Today, I ordered 2 chickens with Chaufa (for pick up) and I received white rice instead. I understand an honest mistake was made, so I called. The manager Federico answered, I asked about my chaufa and he tells me they “ran out” of chaufa. If they had ran out of something, the kind thing would be to tell me in person, not just replace it with white rice and wait until I got home to see it. So I ask for a replacement and they offer to give me French fries instead, but I would have to come and pick it up.Now this place always charges you $5 plus for delivery, now they tell me to drive back like is no problem at all. They really don’t care about their customers at all. I used to like ordering from this place but management has changed and I will no longer be eating from here again.
Visiting from Florida we always make it a habit to find Peruvian restaurants everywhere we go. This place is good and will definitely comeback.
I never ever write reviews but this place was so bad i had to . I’ve always order from Lena y carbon . A different location but today i tried this Passaic one since it was close to where i was. The food is usually great but this place is HORRIBLE . I placed an order with them and was told it would be ready for pick up in 20 mins . I get there 25 mins later giving them enough time to get my food ready . When i got there there was a huge line and for 10 mins this line did NOT move . Yes there was a lady at the counter, but was ignoring everyone who walked in . She was on her phone with her AIRPODS in. She wasn’t doing anything work related that would cause the line to not move . It was my turn to get my food and i was told that there was actually no more chicken whd they had to make some . After 20 mins of driving , 20+ waiting on line … i now had to wait an extra 20 mins for them to START making my food when they told me before hand that it would be ready 20 mins after the call. After waiting i got the food and the rice was HORRIBLE . I had a Chaufa and it had no coloring to it , it was sticky and moist and the taste was awful . Normally food is good but service is HORRIBLE . A good restaurant has both good food and good service
My wife's family has always orders from here, we have never had a problem, food is good.But today we had very poor service. Very unprofessional by waitress and hostess.Didn't attend us for about 10 minutes and only one table was occupied.Served us hot Fuentes ? Didn't even say it was burning hot or offer us any cardboard to grab it.I don't know if we will be back.
This place should easily get 5 stars because the food is just that GOOD! However customer service is simply terrible! Rude waiters that don’t even acknowledge you half the time… this place needs a complete service overhaul. It’s rather disgusting that paying customers are treated so poorly time and time again…
