Soul food for me and my husband. We come over every time we drive pass this town. The noodles are very taste and of great portion. Our friends like this place too.The owner takes care of customers very well. She is hospitality and serves fast. They also have a bakery shop a few steps away. Just ask for the directions

The plates and dinner sets are not clean. I regret to eat here. The smell of the plate with noodle likes long time undried rag. They put lots of salt to cover the bad taste. They have very rude service. The cashier likes to shout at you. There are lots of other real Chinese restaurants in this area. You don’t have to come here to eat. Try some real Chinese food instead of going here to drink the salty “soup” and bear someone yelling at you. Grab your money and find some better place to eat.

Outstanding local Chinese food! Great staff, excellent experience. Delicious.

This place is the real deal. Best Chinese food I have had in Jersey! I only had 4 things while there but can't wait to go back and try more. Best scallion pancakes I've ever had! Loved my large bowl of wonton handpulled noodle soup. Lots of homemade wontons and delicious noodles in a yummy broth. This would be a great soup when you have a cold. Dumplings were great but there is only one type. Also ordered the bok choy with mushrooms to get in some extra vegetables for the day. The only negative thing I would say is that the decor is no frills, but this didn't bother me because the food is so wonderful. There is a good energy, as every table was full on a Thursday night enjoying their food and watching the chef make their homemade noodles in the back of the restaurant.

I ordered a few different things for pick up. Pork fried noodles, pot stickers, spicy noodles, and beef noodle soup. Everything was good… except the beef noodle soup. I cannot stress enough how bland it was. There was no salt on the broth at all, it tasted like straight up water. The beef itself also had no flavor. The noodles were a good texture and I really tried to save it by adding soy sauce and other things but nothing helped. I was honestly really disappointed. Everything else was delicious, I was just really let down by the noodles.

I got the vegetable fried noodles for lunch today. I placed my order online and it was super easy. I asked for no mushrooms and that's exactly what I got. It was very good, all the vegetables were tender crisp and fresh. The noodles almost had a grilled taste to them. A nice light sauce. My only issues, wish there was some other veggies in there also like broccoli or sugar snap peas. The main issue I had with ordering online it says 25-25 minutes to pickup order. Do not listen to this! My order was ready and waiting when I got there and it was a little on the cold side. I'm sure it would've been more amazing if it was hot.

Lamb stew delish, very flavorful and pork buns were totally delish. I can’t wait to go back and try something else!

I'm so so so happy to have table service open again! I live too far for takeout and have missed Shan Shan. The food is always perfect and service is friendly and fast. Cumin lamb noodles are the way to go! They are my favorite but no trip to Shan Shan is complete without a Chinese hamburger. I love the pork Chinese hamburgers. They're so freaking good!! The bun is perfection.

Yes, we Shan Shan! Yummy noodles and dumplings! Though they were really busy at lunchtime on a Saturday, my family of 4 was seated right away. Their Cumin Lamb over Hand Pulled Noodles is a MUST! The wide noodles were nice and long with a great texture while the lamb was perfectly cooked with some Szechuan pepper spice. Then my kids and hubs enjoyed their Seafood with Sauteed Noodles which arrived with scallops and shrimp galore. (It reheated well the next day.) Then we all couldn't stop eating their Steamed Pork Dumplings and Dumplings in Vinegar Soup with Seaweed. We finished them all! With food this good, I'm definitely a fan of Shan Shan!NOTES/TIPS:**They give you scissors to cut the noodles to be more manageable.**Inside, there's a big window to the kitchen where you can watch the noodles being made.**Really friendly service and owner.**Easy parking in a lot shared with other businesses**Sweet Shansations is a really good Asian-ish bakery 2 stores away in the same plaza. Same owner.

Wow! I'm so happy that I decided to visit this place. The service is so unbelievably kind and the atmosphere is overall a very positive vibe. I placed an order for pickup, lamb cumin hand pulled noodles. I love that there's a small window where you can see the noodles actually being made to order. As I sat waiting, the smells were almost indescribable, a welcome sign of good things to come. When I got home I was amazing by how much food they fit into a regular takeout container. The lamb and spices were amazing and well balanced. I asked for spicy but it was not spicy enough. Next time I will ask for extra extra spicy. Also I wish I would have eaten the noodles there because they loose texture really quickly. I will def be returning again to try something else.
