AMAZING FOOD:-Tiis is a beautiful clean restaurant. Bangladeshi owner. Very nine parson and always friendly. Good location and loads of parking. They deserve more than 5 stars.You need to come here!! Highly recommend.
We had an amazing lunch at Halal Platter King. The Chicken and Lamb combo is the best. The chicken and lamb were super fresh and the rice was delicious! White Sauce and Hot Sauce perfectly compliment the dish. My wife got the chicken gyro and she loved it too. The falafels were delicious too! I will definitely be back again with my family and I highly recommend you try too! The owners were so gracious and the restaurant and kitchen are super clean.
Very good chicken platter and lamb gyro
This is indian food, maybe halal. The guy’s attitude was meh, took forever to give me a platter. I asked why the chicken was red, he said “its just color”, when i got home i realized it was indian chicken curry. I could barely eat it as i was hungry. Anyway, if you are looking plater like “The Halal guys” this is NOT it.
Delicious platters (2 chicken, 1 kebob, and 1 falafel platter is our family of 4’s order, and then we divide them up so we all get a little kebab and falafel, and the majority the shawarma-like chicken). Comes with tasty rice and a small salad. White sauce is great, and hot sauce is hot (very good flavor). Give it a try!
being a fan of gyro and 'NYC chicken over rice'- decided to give it a try. though it was late, we called and asked for closing time- it was 11 PM. we were the only ones in there. there is a Bangladeshi couple who run this restaurant and they were very courteous.We ordered-Chicken over rice - Chicken was too red (too much color while mixing?), and my friend did not like it much.Chicken + lamb platterFalafel over riceLamb over rice -and chicken wings - too saltyall platter/ rice plate- it was good except meat portion was less, and why they have cut in tiny pieces. rice-salad side- it was good, but I am still not sure why meat was less on my platter. my expectation was something else. I was disappointed with the portion.yeah, you can try if you want. for me, it's 3/5
The food is very good here! I ordered four entrees for our friday night family dinner & everyone was happy! The owners are also very nice!! We got gyros and french fries, fried shrimp [very good] and also a few small side dishes, definitely happy to have found this place!!
Owner is always friendly, gives great portions and the food is always delicious and fresh. Truly one of my favorite halal spots and I've been to many!
What a lovely exp. I come inside greeted with a smile. She tells me everything about the new restaurant. Just opened and how she loved to cook the food the same day. And I'll tell you yes it is. I ordered the lamb and chicken with falafel platter and with that white sauce. Soooo delicious. Def will come again :)
I came to the area for a couple rounds of pool at a nearby lounge spot.. I decided to stop and get some food and pulling up to this the lights were all off. The worker at the time turned on the lights and welcomed us in to serve us even though they were closed. He was so friendly and polite and had decent conversation. This is my second time coming here and both experiences were late night but worth remembering. Not to mention, the food was goooood ! I’ll definitely continue to come back. :)
