Nice place for late night bar food
IT WAS A SAD EVENING at Applebee's. TWO PART [Positives & Negatives] REVIEW: (1) NEGATIVES - (a) The first four out of 6 things we wanted to Order were Not available. (b) Bourbon Chicken on the skillet was dry. (c) The grilled chicken on the platter was also dry (d) The double crunch Shrimp was not crunchy at all. It was soft & rubbery, as if the had been frozen then microwaved. (e) The Gingerale tasted like diet seltzer water. It was exchanged for an Orange soda that had something floating in it that actually looked like a tadpole swimming around.(not kidding) (2) POSITIVES - (a) The flaming cheetos boneless wing appetizer gets a 6 out of 10. (b) The Strawberry lemonade got a 7 out of 10. (c) Joe [Joseph B.] Our Server, while busy, was very friendly, pleasant, and apologetic for the NEGATIVES. He also spoke highly of his Peers, as he somehow expected the NEGATIVES in this review were his fault, so he didn't want that to reflect on the other Servers. Truth is, Joe did his best. I'm going to give this location the benefit of the doubt, and say ... it probably was an off day for this particular restaurant. If we're in the area again, we'll likely give them a second chance.
Bartender does an excellent job making sure everyone is taken care of and things are running smooth even when very busy. Takes a lot to impress me and I watch and pay close attention to everything.
The staff were great with dealing with a large group of people, but the food was average and clearly heated to order.
The food's good, and the staff's terrific. Very nice people. I had a small steak with broccoli, mashed potatoes, and very good shrimp. All was good but the steak was pretty chewy.... Also the chef put salt on everything, I don't think that's a good idea!! I've been here before, and it's a nice place, sometimes is packed. Lots of families and larger groups. I've always enjoyed my visits here. The bartender offered me another steak! when I mentioned the chewy one!!?
Great restaurant! Great, quick service! Our server Tyler was awesome! Very attentive and efficient! Had our favorite server, Tyler, again tonight! See you next time, Tyler!
It was very nice, the bartender was polite and efficient. The food had a nice presentation was hot and tasty. Last but not least was their dessert which was an ambrosia of taste. My wife and I were both satisfied.
I have to say that it was the first time I ate at this Applebee’s for dinner on Saturday (09/11/2021). The service was beyond phenomenal. The managers were awesome. Believe me when I say that all their staff’s who work at this place goes out of their way to accommodate you in every way possible. The best service of all time!!! Jersey City Applebee’s has nothing on this Applebee’s. I will be returning back :)Ten Stars!!!!??????
My friends and I met for Sunday Football NY Giants game. As game time occurred, the manager informed us that they would be putting the Green Bay game on the main screen with that games audio. Yes there were Packer fans there but AppleBees is advertised as a neighborhood bar. I discussed this with the manager but she just didn’t care. My friends had to move to a table and view the game without sound. I chose to leave. We will be at Capital Craft or Tommy Tavern next time. Maybe I’m wrong but this is a local place and should main stream the local teams.
Was ok I didn't really like my food but waiter was really nice .
