Garden state plaza location, staff is very friendly and courteous, food is great, please try it out!! It's delicious!
Never order for this place. They will give u old food. I order off uber eats and asked for jerk oxtail, yellow rice, and Mac and cheese. They didn't give me the yellow rice and the Mac and cheese don't have any taste and the sauce and the oxtail tastes like it was made days ago and it's going bad. I called the place and asked when was the oxtail made and that it have an off taste and they never once offered to fix it. I talked to someone who claim they were the owner and he kept saying it's a number 1 seller and nobody else had a problem with it and he not giving no refunds because it's the number 1 seller( never asked for a refund just wanted them to fix it) and then kept talking to me unprofessional and sounded cocky. Then he started counting saying there 1 2 3 4 then he stop at 8 people waiting to place an order in line. And I told him the way he acting is going to make him lose customers. He didn't even care my food wasn't fresh and started laughing. Save ur money and go somewhere else better
If you DO NOT know what authentic Jamaican food is, then this is the place for you. Food and service was a ZERO!! Overpriced mall food.
My first time ordering from here and definitely my last. There was no line (which should have been a hint) but the thought of some good Jamaican food made me do it. I ordered pork because the chicken was literally all bones (and the guy was about to serve me a plate of chicken bones) I calculated what I was going to pay from the prices on the menu and when I received my total, it was a little more than what I had added up. So, I asked the guy if he had made a mistake and he said to me " the price are different than what it says on the menu"... he had to turn the monitor around to show me what I paid because he could not give me a receipt! like...wt..are you for real?!?! He then proceeded to say that he has told the owner to change it, but that he doesnt listen... Like I said, it wasnt much of a difference, but it's sneaky and misleading. Worse of all... the food was terrible!!! No flavor whatsoever and the beef patties were burnt! The portion size is ridiculously small. Don't waste your time here!
Today was my second time going here , I really wanted to like this place but it’s not good at all .first time a few months ago the food was cold/old and had a hair in it . They gave me a refund . I tried it again today Bc I was craving some spicy jerk , ordered “jerk” Mac and cheese and rice and peas.1) This is not JERK chicken , its. Almost like baked chicken with no seasoning . Everyone knows Jerk is SPICY or has some spice to it and grilled/charred . this had absolutely no spice or kick to it . She even put extra sauce on the Chicken and rice and peas . Whatever sauce that was was terrible and slight oily , no seasoning no spice to it .2) rice and peas no flavor , salt etc3) Mac and cheese - didn’t taste any cheese , again flavorless .Overall I won’t go back here , ZEROFLAVOR .

Ordered the Jerk chicken, rice and peas, JSG cabbage and plantains with oxtail gravy on top. Definitely freshly cooked and flavorful. A great change from the routine food court food.Absolutely give them a try.
Went to the mall and this was the only place with no line at dinnertime. An obvious sign, but I really wanted flavorful food. The guy behind the register (receipt says "shortstack", reeeeal professional) had an attitude right away. I ordered two plates and got charged for three. I get home and still haven't realized the overcharge but was so disappointed cause the food was NOT fresh. Most definitely not made that day.
Can you imagine i been standing here since 11 and still not one person is up front or at the back yet the food is out,... how do we get service and the opening time is advertised for 11 am.... i dont get it
Excellent jerk chicken, love the flavor and the boneless was nice. The seasoned fries were great as well to top it off with a Ting was simply great. One of the best jerk chicken places I’ve had.
