Great food and service, Tommie the owner very gracious and accomodating. Veal saltimbocca to die. Our go to place when shopping in Paramus.
Food was excellent. I ordered the shrimp, scallop, and lump crab meat linguini. It was a perfect blend of garlic, spinach, olive oil and seafood, de-li-cious!!
Birthday dinner for dad and brother.
We went there for Father's Day and table service was slow and non-attentive. We had to wave down one of the staff to take our drink order, then had to wait at least another 10 minutes for someone to take our food order. The bread took another 20 minutes to arrive after we placed our food order. The calamari was bland. My husband had to get up to remind the waiter to give us extra cocktail sauce for our oysters - the waiter was just standing at his station. The experience was not good and we will not be going back.
I have been to Biagioâs several times before. This time was unlike any other. While we were there for 3 hours, our waiter came to us a total of 5 times. Mostly being prior to our entrees coming to us. The entrees were not great. The pasta was very hard, the meals had little to no flavor. Just not what they used to be for the amount they charge.
The penne ala vodka was bland and had too much basil. The shrimp in the shrimp scampi was chewy. Was a little disappointed in the food especially for the price.
Amazing food & service. Great management, especially Tina was terrific!
Miguel excellent waiter Food awesome as always Dessert was perfect too !
This could have beef so much better had the staff been trained properly. We got there a few minutes early and were seated promptly. My first complaint was they put us all the way in the back in this corner next to the door. Staff only came by us to go smoke outside or leave high chairs by us. We saw our waiter twice. Asked us if we wanted any drinks. Once he say we weren’t drinking and only wanted coffee he ignored us the whole time. We had to ask for more coffee and cream and it took a really long time to get it. Waiters and waitresses just walked past by us and didn’t even look our way. It was like we were invisible. That was the service horrible! Next the food was just ok. It wasn’t anything great and very expensive. You probably would have gotten a better meal at the diner. The desserts were the best part and even they weren’t that great. Then we waited 1/2 an hour for the waiter to come pick up the check to pay. We figured maybe it was free. I finally flagged down someone who I believe might have been a manager. She processed it pretty quickly. I complained to her that they tack on 30 dollars for gratuity which I explained the service was poor and they didn’t deserve that much and she said oh the money doesn’t go only to your waiter it gets split. Well I’m sorry but poor service is poor service and they don’t deserve 20% especially on a buffet. We had no choice on how much we tipped. We are only 3 people normally they do this to parties of 6 or more. We won’t be going back again. I’d think twice before you go there.
We continue to support Biagio’s. We are always greeted with a smiling face, tended to regularly, and most importantly have a great family meal. We always look forward to our next time. The Dell’Avvocato’s
