I'm disappointed at the taste of shrimp fried rice (no salt or flavor but filled with crazy butter) and the size of the dollar bbqs. However, after mixing some spices on the table it was able to be consumed. I think we have much better korean bbqs here in NYC. I won't go back to this spot. I'm going to try other bbq spots in Koreatown if I'm around the area again.
Good food, not great service.We felt they were understaffed the whole time, which led to very long wait times. They said 20-30 minutes when we put our name in (to get us to stay and wait) and an hour later, we were still sitting in the wait area. They were polite though.They just don’t have enough people working. Dirty dishes were sitting on tables because they don’t have anyone to bus. The waiter, the host, and the busser are all the same person.Highly recommend making a reservation a week ahead of time.
The owner is the pettiest business owner in the world. Period. He BLOCKED my number. Unbelievable.I called 2 hours earlier to pickup some food last Saturday and said explicitly to be there at 2:30pm. When I arrived at around 2:35pm, the food is not even cooked yet. After I told him I can't stay longer, the owner said i can wait in the car.It was 70 degree and my child was in the car too. We really needed to leave for a class. I called back, while in the car, to check if the food is ready. He hung up on me. Then I just left. Like I said, we do have other arrangements and really needed to go.10 mins later, he called me. I missed his calls because I was DRIVING!!!!! It's not like ordering a lot and not showing up on purpose. Besides the total of the order is only around 35$.Today when I called to order pickup again, the number is not working. Your pettiness just blows my mind.Nice job. You just lost a regular customer and many potential customers FOREVER.
My favorite Chinese BBQ place in NJ so far!! The lamb skewer is so savory!
This is just amazing how one small restaurant can master such a broad range of Chinese food so professionally! My pick is their spicy cucumber salad, skewers, corn starch noodle soup, and sweet and sour deep fried pork!
Glad I found this place! Skews of course and even other food is really good. Recommend to reserve the place they are always packed on weekend when I walked in.
I visited this place at 2 pm 12/30/2021. I placed the order at 2:05 pm. Then I waited at my seat for my order. After 40 minutes, my patience ran out and I called the waiter. It turned out the waiter not only forgot to give kitchen my order, but also lost the piece of paper where I marked the food I want. What made it even worse was the waiter’s attitude. I wish I could give this place zero star.

A Chinese lamb skewers restaurant!! 1 lamb skewer for $1. Smashed cucumber salad (拍黄瓜 paihuanggua), stir fried fried clam, stir fried pollack, sweet and sour pork 锅包肉 (guōbāoròu), lamb skewers, beef skewers, pork skewers with tsingtao beer were perfectly good. The staffs were friendly and the restaurant was pretty clean. Make a reservation in advance.
I love this place, good pricing and very delicious. Had party of 4 but 3 other people besides me had stomachache after eating here. I only had the beef skewer but didn't have lamb skewer but others had like 50 lamb skewers to share so that might of been the problem.Always busy for dinner, would suggest making reservation.
