What a wonderful experience! My first time trying Korean food and it was delicious. Big, hefty portions of food at a reasonable price. I had the beef bibimbap. Lovely location that feels private and homey. The staff were so friendly and explained some side dishes I had never seen before. I can't recommend this place enough!

Came in for lunch at around 11:30 on a Sunday with my husband and my parents. It wasn’t too crowded at that point. There were a few large groups but we still felt like we had enough space. We ordered a bunch of dishes - probably too much because we had a ton of leftovers for lunch the next day. Here is everything we ate:Korean Style Corn Cheese - this was soo good. It was piping hot and super cheesy. It’s heavy but it was the perfect amount for four people without feeling too greasyTteokbokki - we added cheese to this, which was a mistake after eating the heavy corn cheese. It’s also very saucy, maybe a little too saucy. This was everyone’s least favoriteBBQ Squid - this had great flavor. I wish they had cut it up for us but they just gave us a pair of scissors and it was very difficult to cut. Because I this, I expected it to be chewy, but thankfully it was notSeafood Pancake - filled with lots of morsels of seafood but not a huge fan of Korean pancakes in generalSoondubu Special (wild seeds and beef, soft tofu, shrimp, oysters, and clam). Good but pretty standard. This is nice if you just want a bowl of something hot and comforting. It’s served with stone rice and I love the crispy edges of the riceGalbi - so tender and flavorful and comes served on a sizzling hot plate. This was everyone’s favorite dishAside from the galbi, the other thing I loved was the banchan. They aren’t skimpy with it. When they notice you running low, they’ll replenish it for you - most of the time before you even get the chance to ask. There’s kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, soy radish, bean sprouts, and spinach (?) with gochujang. My top banchans we’re definitely both kimchis and the radish. I could probably just eat this with rice and be happy.I’ve been to other SGD locations and the quality across is usually pretty consistent. Writing this review now makes me want to go back already!

The portion of bibimbap is pretty large and very classic flavor. But the spicy baby octopus is kind of disappointing… mostly pork belly inside but very few octopus.

The service was prompt and the Bi Bim Bap was delicious. The portions were generous and the price was right. Highly recommend.

This was introduced by a friend of mine.. I am so glad I was introduced to this place . Sumptous, satisfying and comforting food even for vegetarians ☺️☺️?My favorite here : Korean street corn with that yummy cheese ❤️

My favorite Korean restaurant in NJ ever . We alway order Squid bbq and tofu spicy soup is the best comes with hot stone bowl rice ? ? ❤

Hands down the best Korean place I’ve tried. All other places lack in comparison. The seafood pancake is always on spot. Everything I’ve tried has been great. The galbi and the beef tofu soup are a must! I go back at least twice a month!!

Fantastic place. Elevator to second floor. Parking in the rear of the building. Everyone was wearing a mask. Line the fact that there is a scale (1-5) as to how spicy you want your meal.

This is another little hidden gem tucked away on the second floor of a two story building. You enter from a side door right at the back of a parking lot. They were very hospitable and the food was great. Tons of banchan. It had a quiet charm to it not like some other obnoxiously loud venues. The decor was pleasantly authentic catapulting you to lands thousands of miles away. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

No frills Korean restaurant! The prices are amazing compared to Manhattan :) why go there when you can enjoy a spa day at SOJO or Spa King and finish the evening with some amazing Soon Tofu chigae!
