one of my boyfriend’s and I favorite place to have date night!! the broth, veggie, noodle, meat and sauce section are all absolutely amazing and fresh!! the service is great and we always leave super happy and love ending our meals with ice cream and taking some bubble tea to go - love this place!!
My first experience at an all you can eat hot pot place and ShabuRo was amazing. It was clean, there were tons of options for people who have dietary restrictions as well and they keep the tables pretty clean. I would also add that even the vegetarian all you can eat option is amazing and it actually includes a lot of options. (And the ice cream at the end is pretty nice!!! :) )
Went on a Monday evening around 6:30pm. Seating was prompt and the service was good. They have a very good buffet selection of non meat products. One of the best I've seen. Everything I selected was fresh. They also have the best sauce buffet I've ever seen. The Mala broth has decent flavor but wasn't very spicy. The curry broth was a little lacking in flavor. However because of the amazing dipping sauce buffet you could make any flavor you wanted. I only wish the pot size was a bit larger.
My first experience at ShabuRo was wonderful overall. The restaurant is located near an actively busy road, so be careful making the turn into the parking lot. There is the parking lot in the front, which only accommodates a few cars, and a lot in the back (second right turn), which has more room. Try to make reservations or come during non-peak dining times to avoid long waits.They have an All You Can Eat option and a select choice option where you order specific dishes for a lower price. I chose the latter and for someone who eats plenty, it was enough to fill me up to get a plate of seafood and sliced beef. Try not to go overboard on the fish cakes and fish balls at the bar like I did because those fill you up quick. Make sure to get some dessert from their ice cream machine near the entrance!
Fresh food and clean restaurant. The servers were also very nice.
Be aware that you will be given a sudden 5 minute warning to stop eating. There is a sign that tells you that 90 minute limit may be enforced during busy times. They do not specify what those busy hours are. When we dined on a Sunday afternoon around 2 PM, it didn’t look that busy. I even saw a few empty tables, but our waiter told us we have five minutes remaining. My son had just brought a full plate of food. It definitely put a bitter after taste in our dining experience.I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 1 star because their food and sauce options are great. Just remember to ask if their 90 min limit will be enforced before you’re seated at the table.
This was the first buffet style hot pot I’ve been to and I absolutely loved it. BYOB and an awesome selection of food and even an ice cream machine.
Food was ok. The slices of meat were really thick. We were a table of five. We finished the entire table of food except 4 slices of beef which were, too hard to finish since the texture was really really thick! The manager came up to us and said he was going to charge us for wasting food. I am completely shocked!! We never waste food and by far this is not excessively wasting food. I thought he could have some respect for me for speaking up and commenting about the texture of the food. He basically shamed me in front of everyone. It is really hurtful when we order little by little tried not to waste any food
Great! Great! Great! Did I say Great? The Hot Pot is amazing. Service is always good and gracious. We have been here various times and love it.
Went with a party of six and had seating right away. Definitely call ahead to book something. The selection was pretty amazing. We tried the spicy bone, bone, and veggie broths. The only one our party didn’t like as much as the others was the spicy bone. The veggies and noodle bar included so many options that we were all excited. The meats were also good. We tried the fatty beef and pork shoulder. The sauces you can make and mix were also really well-done. They also have bubble tea and regular tea (barley tea was nice). Waiters were attentive and busy, and plates were removed almost instantly. Would definitely go back. They also have a smart selection of ice cream for dessert.
