The chicken was very good and crunchy. Alittle pricey but good chicken.
Me & my pregnant wife got sick a few hours after eating their spicy chicken. The food is not fresh at all it taste and feel like they just refried their old chicken. We only had a few bites and got really sick especially my wife. We will definitely report them to the department of health.
BAD customer service. Often miss items in order. They never call or txt to inform you when something is unavailable or changed beforehand. When you call to let them know the order is wrong, they simply say “oh we don’t have that today so we refunded” or “email the customer service on the website”. They really do not care at all. I won’t order from this location if you want to get your order right.
Was hoping this was going to be pelican wings, but was pleasantly surprised! Maybe change the name to chickencana chicken to make sure your patrons are 100% certain of the product they are receiving. Anyways, off to the old dusty trail.Love,Steven
This was a decent spot to eat- was kind of busy (Friday night) located in Palisades Park NJ here in Bergen County.The combo whole chicken fried (bone in or out) i prefer in - serving is enough to feed 3 adults. Lemonade was strong/sour n sparkling so that's a plus- not a big place so it can get crowded (on street parking). The food is pretty good just not alot of options The staff was nice (eye candy). It's affordable and if in the area i would eat here again.
Ordered on Doordash. Chicken was extremely dry, as if they re-fried it. Not the same quality as when I had ordered several months ago. Also they got rid of the Pelicana level 1&2 sauces - There was only level 3 sauce option available on Doordash so I thought it was a glitch and wrote in the notes to replace with level 2. Restaurant gave me level 3 and wrote on the receipt that there is no more level 2 sauce. They should consider updating their delivery apps to ensure their customers are aware of this. Did not finish my chicken as it was too dry to begin with, and the sauce was too spicy for me.
Horrible wait time holy macaroni... literally just ordered 20 piece boneless wings and I had to wait for 1 hour for it to come out literally no joke. Spice was not even evenly spread out on every wings and not enough sauce on each of them made it taste very plain although I ordered flavored one. Jesus.. and funny part is that there was just 2 tables in the restaurant and was not even busy... I don't know how they are going to take care of 10 different tables when many customers come in. Probably have to wait for 2 to 3 hours. Feels bad..
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The waiters were terribly rude. The waiters need to realise they are in the service industry and they need to be nicer to their customers. Management needs to do something about this. I will not be coming back here anymore and don’t recommend anyone visit this location.
