The food is decent, however the front desk and waiters’ service need to be improved a lot. The girl at the front desk was very hard to communicate, and gives off an attitude when we say we have a large group. We asked for 4 high chairs, which they only give us 3. When they explained to us that they didn’t have enough high chairs, the waiter said it pretty rude. Anyways, since we are paying for both food and service, i though I’d mention what we experienced.
This place has been on my to go list for over a year. I finally had the opportunity to visit Jeong Yook.Upon arrival the waiting area was pretty busy and packed. No staffer or hostess greeted us or asked us if we wanted to dine in. We had to scan this QR code and sign up for their waitlist. Management should have someone managing the front end of the establishment. The overall dining experience was exceptional. The quality of the meat was fantastic, the service was good and establishment was designed properly to allow tables for 2 to dine without interruption.Pricing is fair and at a comfortable price point. The combo dishes are good enough for 2-3 people.Highly recommend this amazing Korean bbq restaurant. Didn’t award the establishment 4 stars because the quality of the food made up for the lack of greeting and our ability to be seated upon arrival.
Food is great and service is very friendly!Definitely go back next time.4 people ordered one seafood pancake, a small mix meat combo, beef tongue. Good amount for 4. Store refill your side dishes if you asked for it. Super nice!
The meat quality was great and we love to dine in there. Their vent needs to improve tho, as you can see in the picture, we thought it was on fire?
Went there today with my friend, got a small size pork combo. The side dishes are great, the meat was fresh, but the service not so great. When the server first came he just laid the meat on the griller, and there's a aluminum container on top too, didn't explained what that was and didn't come back til I called another server. One side of the meat was already over cooked and burned. The aluminum container was the corn with cheese inside, also burned... didn't say anything or apologized, the girl just kept on cutting the meat and said it's ready, then walked away.... probably won't go there again to be honest.
Had the small beef combo, we were a party of 3. I wished I got a large instead ?
Absolutely amazing experience eating korean bbq. Upon walking in, there is a display full of aged meat. The tomahawk steak caught our eye and we knew we had to try it out. A party of 3, we were quickly seated and our table was already set with side dishes.Service was impeccable and the servers were friendly and answered all our questions. We ordered the pork and beef combo that came with corn and cheese, your choice of kimchi tofu soup or soybean paste soup, and steamed egg. We also ordered a tomahawk steak. Everything came out really fast and looked incredibly fresh. The waiter cooked everything for us to perfection and explained to us the different sauces. It was our first time trying a tomahawk steak and it was cooked well. Very tender and juicy. All other meats were exquisite as well. Please keep in mind, this place is a bit pricy but we'll worth it for the fresh meat and service you receive.
This place has a neat atmosphere and good service. They have one of the best choices of meat to cook and enjoy from. Whatever is in the water, it tastes pretty damn refreshing
Delicious KBBQ at a low price. Service was fast for lunch. Great menu selection including noodles, stews, etc.
The dining room was half full on a Sunday evening, yet we felt rushed by our server who took it upon herself to dump the entire plate meat on our grill while we were chatting. Moments later the well done beef was ready for partial consumption. Nice decor and setup, but make sure you wear shoes that have traction otherwise you would be sliding into your table like gangbusters. Go if you prefer the server to take it upon herself to cook your wagyu meat well done.
