Modern and comfortable but the FOOD is another story.I had good expectations with this place but was a total disappointment :(• chicken teriyaki was not cooked well you can taste the chicken raw and doesn’t even taste like teriyaki, chicken karaage totally OVER COOKED almost burnt, the only thing that was good was the water and the corn with cheese.• the staff was friendly but they think you’re stupid, I told them it was my first time trying the place so I want to order different plates. I asked for a small quantity of a different sauce and they told me I have to buy another plate that comes with the sauce I want to try. Prices are higher than in the other Japanese places around the area and the food is not worth it.Not kids friendly.

No nonsense restaurant. The menu is quite large but not confusing. The staff were attentive. The ambiance was great. I ordered the yakitori set for about 30 dollars and it was very good. I also ordered the udon which I find great and flavorful. I'll be coming back for sure

After seeing some of the reviews about the slow and unsatisfactory service from others, we expected the worst but was pleasantly surprised. We came in at around 6pm on a Sunday and the service was excellent. My family sat at one of the private booth behind the curtain with the server buzzers but throughout the whole stay (spent about 2 hours in the restaurant) the service was consistent, extremely snappy, and very accommodating. The food was delicious. From the Izakaya menu to the fresh sushi, everything was appetizing! Will definitely come back for more.

We got attractive by the Japanese style decor outside. In side the space was very nice. Lots of booth for small group!Highly recommend the premium sushi moriawase. $40 for 12 piece, very good deal. The chirashi done cost only $28 and there is 10 pieces.Corn cheese with chicken karaage was very cheesy and flavorful as well!We definitely coming back to try more items!

Food tasted ok, but the whole experience was ruined with the service. Service was horrible. Loud music caused a lot of miscommunication between our larger party (that was already in a private booth). Our server was very rude and condescending regarding the miscommunication. In addition, our other food came out at a different time intervals within a 1.5 hour range, which didn’t make any sense. It made our dinner very awkward because some of our party wanted to wait while others suggested to start eating. After all of that, I was billed for the wrong table, and only after I noticed the mistake, I got refunded and charged the correct items. In addition, the parking lot for the restaurant is also very small, and there’s not a lot of street parking, so it’s very inconvenient. It was a Saturday night in their defense, but they could’ve done much better. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.

This restaurant serves mixed Korean-Japanese cuisine. Conveniently located near Manhattan, not too deep into NJ. Service was great, we had trouble with their metal chopsticks which were very heavy and pointy at the ends (good challenged to use those chopsticks to eat slimy taco wasabi) and they gave us takeout chopsticks to use. Hawaiian roll was super packed with ingredients. Chirashi was nice and fresh, rice in the bowl was seasoned fairly well. Beef Tan Tan Nabe looked nothing like the picture on the menu but was delicious regardless. I was really excited to try the grilled salted pollack roe but our order was messed up and they served us edamame which we returned. The server did offer to make the pollack roe but we were already finished with our meal at the time. The restaurant is very unique in the sense that it does not lean too close to the traditional Japanese nor Korean cuisine and has a good amount of original dishes. Would recommend stopping by to give it a try if you are in the area.

Service was lovely. Stayed nearly 2 hours with our party of 7. without even realizing and we were sat immediately. Ring the bell for anything otherwise they pretty much leave you alone. Which is nice, in my opinion. But I know some people are particular about that so if that bothers you, don't go here. Other than that, food portions were great. I ordered the Tako wasabi, Creamy Pollock Roe Udon and vanilla mochi. Dessert was nothing to write home about but everything else was delicious.

Excellent food, wonderful service!! The server we had gave us an excellent recommendation for sake and everything was cooked well. The order took roughly 15 to 20 minutes to get the food to our table and the quality was amazing.

First of all this restaurant is beautiful from top to bottom. We've loved pretty much everything we've had here. Our favorites are the volcano roll and the okonomiyake. We'll usually get those with anything else we get and the whole family is happy. It's not the cheapest option, but the quality and consistency more than makes up for the price. Staff is friendly as well, and they're open late which is awesome when you're craving something in the middle of the night and don't want fast food. Highly recommended.
