If you're visiting Ocean City make this one of your stops before you leave before the summer season ends. Some of the best food you'll ever eat will be here. The long lines and packed store only prove the quality of the food is the best you'll ever have. The wait will be worth it.
Italian is different than my preferred style, but still great. Cheesesteak is a masterpiece but has a shelf life of about 3 mins ?
Their food was Good but they are incompetent. Been going here for 10 years and for whatever reason they seem to have forgotten how to handle the summer business (which is their only business since they are closed during the offseason). I expect to call in an order and have a long wait time. Today it was 50 minutes. That’s not the bad part. It is showing up 50 minutes later and the waiting in their sweat shop for another 30 minutes after i “checked in”. Their process for filling orders is a $?!t show. If you have a big order, they might take you in a reasonable amount of time. If it is a couple sandwiches, good luck. My cheesesteak was sitting so long that it was basically inedible when I got home. Never again.
Food is amazing! We get the large ready to eat lasagna every year. Yummy! We pick it up with garlic bread and a salad after the beach and it is ready to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Worth the wait! This place was very busy so there is a good wait for your food. Cash Only. You can see how hard the staff is working here! Friendly group! My chicken parm sandwich was super good and my daughter loved her meatballs and pasta! Thank you!!! It was great to eat Italian food on the beach!
Recommended by 2 friends. Convenient for takeout, but very average spaghetti & meatballs at best. I know of multiple Italian restaurants throughout the tristate area that are far better. Not sure why this place gets so many above average reviews.
Great food! I got the cheesesteak with fried onions. The roll was packed with meat and there was a pile if fried onions on top. My wife got the chicken Italiano, and it too was loaded and delicious. My daughter ate the chicken Ceasar salad. It was huge. And also delicious. We are looking forward to future visits and trying other offerings.They also have an assortment of homemade items for purchase; sauces, lasagna, dressings, and much more. If you're in, or close by, Ocean City, they are worth stopping into. Great place!
Beat cheesesteak I have ever had in my lifetime, possibly even better then some of the ones I had in Philly! Highly recommend you stop here to try one for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area!
Iconic. How can you go to Ocean City without eating from Voltacos?! I don’t know. My family has done it for years and I’m still not sick of them!
I don't frequent OC anymore, but Voltacos deserves 5 stars for cheesesteaks. I order extra meat everywhere but this place actually delivers!
