We Love ? Love Varsity Inn. We always make time for either a bfast or lunch there. We live the college like decor with the tons of Varsity flags from all over the U.S.The food us great, served hot and with definately a good price.It's worth stopping in for a quick bite to eat...just blocks from the boardwalk and all the shops down tje other way on Asbury.It is up for sale which saddens us in a eay...but maybe the new ownetscwill embrace some of the ambiance the place has, so it's long time customers can still enjoy what has become a tradition to them.If I could give it more stars I would.
Cozy breakfast n lunch place with the nostalgic rah rah college banners throughout. A bit tight and a bit pricey but the food's good and the waitresses attentive and NICE.

Nice selection of diner fair, everything we had we really enjoyed. We had the tomato soup with grilled cheese, New England clam chowder and pumpkin spiced pancakes.

The tomato soup I've heard of for years but never tried because I didn't like tomato soup. Until I tried this one. You haven't lived until you order the Red Raider Combo and dip your grilled cheese into the crock of hearty, creamy tomato soup, topped with more melted cheese. Absolute heaven in a crock! And be sure you buy some to go!
