Great food, friendly people, an all around nice place!
I have tried every breakfast place on the island in the almost two years of living here. I guess I saved the best for last. It’s an old school looking place but the breakfast was incredible. There are many really good places but this is my favorite now.
Best service! We had eggs, omelet, home fries and corn fritters. Everything was excellent. Nice, unpretentious atmosphere.

We recently went to Ready’s for breakfast and were surprised to find such a large price increase on their breakfast menu. For example: their two egg with meat breakfast went from $8.95 to $12.35 (37% increase). We will now be looking for alternative places to have breakfast in ONCJ.
My favorite and in my opinion absolute best breakfast food down the shore in general! We always have a great time at Ready's every single time. The ladies that work here are the best in quality service and the food is out of this world! Doug and the crew here are amazing! Thank You!
Friendly service. Great omelets and homefries. Great french toast. Wonderful place, just like home.
We went to Ready’s today, it was very dirty in the dining area. Crumbs and dirt all over the floor and none of the staff seemed compelled to sweep. The server had an friendly but somewhat bad attitude when asked a question about an item on the menu. There is a large spot of the ceiling where the paint is peeling off and could contaminate food. The French fries were cooked in rancid oil that needs to be changed, inedible. The ketchup bottle had congealed ketchup on the top when it was opened. This place needs a lot of attention to quality, cleanliness and repairs. I would never go again and would advise staying away until the owners commit to improving all of the above.
