Our favorite OC eatery. It's a shame they aren't open for dinner until Thursday. Salads are fresh, crab cakes are tasty and fairly meaty and if you like Cole slaw as a side make sure you order theirs.
One small bathroom in the place which an employee was in for a very long time and left it smelling awful. Flies around as well..Decent food..Lazy waitress who didn't even so much as clear our plates after we ate. Then it took her extra long to bring two small bowls of ice cream. This is while the place is pretty much empty. Not sure what this waitress was doing... maybe just hanging out? Either way what started off as a seemingly decent visit to this place ended up being just annoying. I would never go back.
The cook really takes pride in his food and the wait staff are really good at there jobs I worked here and I miss it but since covid everything has changed miss everyone ♥♥♥
quiet day in OC. just a quick visit looking for lunch. found the cafe...warm, inviting, just a simple delicious breakfast sandwich for lunch. friendly staff
I got a Caesar salad with salmon, and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked great, and the salad was good as well. You have the option to use whichever menu you want. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Great place overall, with outdoor seating!

We decided to try this place when all our usual breakfast restaurants were getting too crowded. We got one of the last seats available, outside. It's a nice venue but a little noisy since it's right off one of the main roads. Our waitress was wonderful.I got a pork roll+ egg + cheese bagel, perfect except the bagel itself seemed low quality and too crumbly. My boyfriend got a platter with buttermilk pancakes, which unfortunately tasted sour and were inedible. The waitress notified the cook and said he threw that batch out.We thought your coffee mugs were really cute too, not just average plain cups!
We were visiting OC NJ and wanted to go to breakfast. Someone local referred us here. We are glad they did. We will be back again. Server was attentive and very polite, breakfast was fantastic, atmosphere was comfortable and we were in and out quickly.
We sat at an outside table for 15 minutes before I went in and asked if anybody was working outside tables. I was told yes and that a waitress would be with me soon. 10 minutes later I went back in. A waitress came out 5 minutes later and said she didn't see us. If these are your tables I would assume that you would be checking on them. We got a fork and no other silverware. I got up and grabbed spoon and knife off of other tables along with the ketchup and hot sauce. Waitress never came back except to hand us the bill. The eggs are eggs, home fries tasted greasy. Luckily our meal came with the rooms that we were staying in so I didn't have to waste my money.
