For years this has been a family favorite but I’m sad to say that for the last 3 years the food has not been great. Most recently we ordered our go to meal of fried shrimp and fried clam strips. They tasted like it was cooked in old grease and they were burnt! Sorry no photos because we threw everything away. The coleslaw was good though.
Take out order yesterday at 4:45 and it was largely inedible. The shrimp and flounder were fried to a crisp and tons of fries that tasted like old grease. The only thing I would ever consider buying again is the steamed shrimp and a loaf of Italian bread.
Very little lobster and crab meat was tasteless.
Super delicious and definitely good for what it was!!!!! We loved it and always wanted to come here.
Ordered for a group of 10. Everyone enjoyed and raved about the meal that they ordered. Everyone also samples others..
The seafood here is good andfor the south side. My only complaint is that the wait is rather long. My family loved their dinners and my daughter enjoyed her ice cream. The young man helping us with the ice cream was pleasant.
Really great seafood. We got a variety to share. Everything delicious and cooked perfectly (crab cocktail, crab balls, calamari, lobster bisque, New England clam chowder, chicken fingers, crab cake sandwich, steamed shrimp and scallops). My only complaint is how the platters are served for takeout. They give you a 9x13 foil pan and it's filled maybe half or less. The tray size is misleading.
The freshest salmon I have ever tried! The portion was huge!
Ordered for a large multi family dinner. The food was excellent. The steamed clams were my favorite!
Had Mike’s for dinner for the first time tonight. I’m not a seafood person, so this was the first time I’ve tried lobster and crab. The crab tasted fantastic, however, the portion of crab (as seen in the picture) was not worth the money we spent on it. I know snow crabs are smaller, however, for the lack of meat in the legs they should have given us more of those legs. The crab legs we got were not worth $26.99. We also got fried clams, calamari, and the lobster dinner. These were all pretty good as well. The three stars is mainly because the quantity of the food does not match the price.
