This place is awesome! First of all the donuts are delicious. Second everyone was so friendly. Then the breakfast sandwiches are so delicious. I've been to all the donut places in OC and this was my favorite.
This is such a great spot for breakfast! The breakfast sandwiches are tasty and just her right size, the donuts come in a million delicious flavors, and the coffee drinks are fantastic! The staff is always so friendly, and service is quick even on busy days. And their peanut butter cold brew coffee is my absolute favorite ?
My two young sons were excited to share with the staff that it was our first time here. The staff was so friendly. We used their outdoor seating to eat our donuts warm. I heard the manager (owner?) tell a staff member inside "It's their first time here. Go check on them and see how they like it." I loved the experience. The donuts were delicious, and the pride in customer service was appreciated. We will definitely be back soon!
Went for coffee since it was close walking distance from our hotel. First time experience with Fractured Prune Donuts so I asked and I found out they were cake donuts made to order. At first I thought, ok, already made donuts that are topped with your choice of toppings. The owner explained further that they actually make the donuts fresh when you order! I was still sceptical if I would really enjoy a cake donut since I prefer the other kind. Well! It was amazing!! We went back the next morning for another donut and coffee!! I can't say enough good things about my two visits! The warm donut was amazing. Great staff and owners, friendly and great customer service. My OCNJ visit was only two days, but I know I would have gotten a donut each morning if my vacation had been longer. Coffee and latte were very good, too.

Decadent donuts, superb breakfast sandwiches, and friendly staff make Fractured Prune the best donut shop in Ocean City! The donuts are made hot and fresh to order so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but everything from Fractured Prune is well worth that wait. You can also order online which makes ordering very quick and easy. We ordered donuts for my daughter's donut themed birthday party and they are guaranteed to be a huge hit! This is a must stop when visiting OC, NJ!
The Fractured Prune is hands-down one of the best donut makers on the east coast. They have a phenomenal, mouth-watering selection of flavors.
The donuts were very hot and fresh. We tried them for the first time and expected something more, but these turned out to be the most ordinary donuts, just a large selection of different mixes to them. It seems to me that the prices for these donuts are a little overpriced. I personally, I will not buy any more, since I did not get much pleasure from them as I expected
Excellent selection with custom donut options. It's about 20 dollars for a dozen and well worth the price for fresh and warm donuts. Newest flavor is Twix and extremely delicious.
I have long known Fractured Prune as a staple at the OCMD/DE beaches but noticed a few locations pop up in Jersey Shore a few years ago. After years of being loyal to our local shops I decided to try it out.First off, their menu is MASSIVE. Their donuts are similar to many fried donut shops down here where each variety starts as a fresh, hot, fried donut and is then topped with your specific order. However, I have never seen a menu this extensive.Inside, the shop is small but there is ample seating outside. They also travel pretty well and even taste a little better once they have cooled down a bit but more on that later.We ordered a half dozen donuts: Carnival (Honey Glaze, Rainbow Sprinkles), Lumberjack (Maple Glaze, Bacon, Cinnamon Sugar), Peppermint Patty (Mint Glaze, Chocolate Mini Chips), Twix (Chocolate Glaze, Graham Cracker and Caramel Drizzle), Strawberry Shortcake (Strawberry Glaze, Graham Crackers, Powdered Sugar), Vanilla Streusel (special - vanilla glaze w streusel topping).I'm not exaggerating when I say they were HOT. Maybe too hot... they honestly started to taste better as they cooled. These would be better to take home and enjoy in my opinion.All in all, I really enjoyed this place. It doesn't have the same atmosphere as Nauti Donuts or Browns but they are definitely great. The line also tends to be shorter so this is a good place to grab some on your way home!
