2 stars because the table side guacamole was very good, but that’s where it ended. Chimichangas were dry, rice was room temperature at best. My wife’s tacos were unseasoned chicken, overloaded with onion, almost no evidence of cheese and a little drizzle of sour cream…that’s it…the $66 tab included a $4 charge for the refill of the unsweetened iced tea. Won’t even consider a return…overpriced and poor quality.
I love Mexican food and being down the shore, these places are fewer and further between than world series appearances for the Phillies. El Guacamole is a place up the street from the shorehouse we rent. I don't recall seeing it last year, but I ordered a steak and chicken burrito (el burrito mixto on the menu) just to give it a try. Glad I did because it was one of the best burritos I recall having. The wrap, which is most important to get right, was perfect. It wasn't some flimsy soft wrap that fell apart as soon as you take a bite. They toasted the soft wrap so it stayed firm and together until the last bite. I plan to order more in the future but as far as the burrito and fries went, it was excellent. My only criticism might be that the price for a simple burrito seemed high, but with inflation, and the cost of everything down the shore being expensive to begin with, it's not out of the ballpark of anything else in Ocean City. It was good enough where I consider it worth it.
Best Mex outside of Mexico! The Reyna family are the real deal and the food and service are excellent. Really can’t go anywhere else now, except the Millville location, where we’ve driven to from Northfield, just to eat there. The Ocean City store isn’t very big, so stay home so I always have somewhere to sit !! Haha!(Go there) Thanks
Absolutely delicious. My mom hasn't had good fish tacos in years but the Mahi-Mahi fish tacos here made her so happy. They were really perfect. I got a chicken burrito that was fantastic. Also the staff was really friendly. Definitely coming back

Food is delicious, great portions. Guacamole is made table side which a nice touch. Kids love this. Very friendly staff. We’ve been there twice in one week. Take out is just as great as dine in.
Food was a step up from the usual Mexican restaurant. However, for the steep prices I was surprised that the enchiladas had unseasoned shredded chicken. The Verde sauce was awesome. The staff was nice
Fresh authentic Mexican food! Soups are amazing. Get the guacamole table side. Definitely recommend. Cash only do bring that. Or use inside ATM. ???
