My gosh!! Brown's has some of the best donuts I have ever eaten in my life! From the moment I first ate donuts there, I've become much more fond of donuts in general. Dunkin is practically out the window (not that I was eating there much before I came across Brown's). Even though it has been months since I've been there, I still occasionally experience cravings for Brown's donuts. Thank goodness summer is here! One time when I went to Brown's (because I've been there several times), I had breakfast along with my donuts. The breakfast was honestly nothing to write home about (but it wasn't bad) but the donuts more than made up for it!! The good news for folks who don't want to have a full meal there is that Brown's also has a stand right outside the restaurant where you can go and order just donuts. The line outside the stand can get pretty long during the summer season, though, which is why it's important to go there early. Something else to keep in mind is that Brown's only serves donuts until 11 am. To be honest, Brown's absolutely fantastic and fresh donuts were one of the the main highlights of my visits to Ocean City. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that a visit to Ocean City is not complete without stopping by Brown's for their donuts. Overall, I highly reccomend Browns!

I know this place gets mixed reviews. We stayed very close to Browns this summer, so got their doughnuts a few times during our stay. I can't comment on the other food as I never tried it. The doughnut line gets incredibly long. I wouldn't wait more than 15 min, but if you time it right, the doughnuts are worth a stop. You won't find an extensive menu with creative doughnut flavors here. No gobs of icing on top. There are others places in OC for that. But what you will find are classic, hot from the oven doughnuts in a handful of flavors. If you crave a more simple doughnut, check it out!
Hands down the best place in Ocean City for donuts. I'll never go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and the donuts are always fresh and delicious and such a good price.
Tucked away at the far end of the boardwalk rests OC's best donuts -- and possibly the best donuts on the east coast. Don't @ me until you've ordered a few -- sugar, chocolate, and vanilla, and tried them yourself. I'm betting you will become an instant disciple of the Brown's donut and dream of the time time you can pop that sweet goodness in your mouth. The rest of the diner experience is above average -- plenty of staples from waffles to pancakes to some Philly specials like scrapple and chipped beef , all served by nice elderly ladies who seem to have help start the joint in 1978. All of it is good, but the donuts are special.

I have been going to Browns for almost 30 years. I remember when this place was just a small window with a donut machine inside.While they only have six flavors of donuts, this is all you need. They have the classics, nothing more. I prefer the vanilla or cinnamon sugar but you can't go wrong with any of them. Recently, I've been ordering the honey variety.Also, don't overlook their breakfast menu. If you get there early enough, you can easily find a spot inside or outside. They have a great menu of traditional diner-style breakfast food (including Scrapple!)PRO TIP: Grab breakfast at the counter and order a dozen doughnuts on your way out to take home. They won't let you just order donuts there but if you eat a meal you can grab some to go!
Fantastic Donuts. Lines form everyday. The lunches are so good
