I saw a huge crowd of desks lined up outside the Restsurant , I though the food here must to great . They had Wednesday buffet , $20 and sub par food . Huge disappointment!

I've been here only once and tried only their Wednesday Dosa buffet, but I can already vouch this to be one of the best authentic South Indian vegetarian restaurant and Dosa place in the Garden state. They have a display of awards they have won and that’s certainly a testimony to what they offer.We went here just by the reviews and was surprised how a modest looking place can pack a punch with its taste and pleasant customer service. The food was out of the world and tasted just how it would if you are to walk into a South Indian restaurant, back in India.We got here on a Wednesday night to try the dosa buffet and had no disappointments. They charge $19.99 per person for unlimited food, which is nominal. The dosas variety is a lot and the other various foods served in the counters are delicious too. They keep refilling them and don’t let you wait. The only pickle point is that they didn’t have pickles to side the curd rice (which’s a must in South Indian type of eating) ;)We can’t wait to try this place on other days and their other delicacies.Dosa Grill, you found yourself, new patrons in us!
This restaurant is excellent in all way. The food is superb and the hospitality is top notch. I brought my family today for the dinner buffet and we all absolutely loved in. The food quality was just as good as a la carte. We are regulars here and will recommend this family oriented restaurant to all our friends. Definitely try this place out if you haven’t been!
One of the best customer service experiences we have had at an Indian establishment in a long time!! Rajiv, our host, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the items in the menu. My husband and I wanted a light lunch so we opted to share a Dosa meal. Without asking, he brought us two plates with separate servings of chutney’s and sambas!! Small gesture but extremely courteous one!! something that rarely happens even at larger more formal restaurants. Thank you for a great lunch experience Rajiv!

I wasn’t happy to go back this place because we were eating our food and the owner let a some man who appears to be selling some sort of pamphlet inside in restaurant to go to everyone table and let him collect money from each table without mask during covid. it’s so ridiculous. And we didn’t give any money because we were eating our food at the time and the man got mad. If it were in a different situation we would’ve donated but we were eating a meal at the time. It was rude if the owners to set such an unpleasant environment.
For a big birthday party celebration at our house, we ordered traditional South Indian food from Dosa Grill for the two-day celebration event. Ayyappan from Dosa Grill heard our food orders, made light changes to the lunch menus to suit the occasion, and when people attending the party tasted the food, they all went for multiple servings. Food items such as bhisibelebath, puliogarai, potato bondas were in huge demand. Well done, Dosa Grill team. Thank you and much appreciated for your food and services.
I've eaten here maybe five times with family and friends, and we enjoy the masala dosa, gobi Manchurian, dahi puri, medhu vada, curries... The flavor is good and fresh. I usually ask for extra spicy to make sure it is hot enough for me. Staff is very friendly. I have never been automatically charged for gratuity, as other reviews state, and people who complain about their doordash meals - well, they doom themselves from the start, in my opinion. If you want good food, have the respect to go eat in a restaurant, otherwise don't slander. I recommend this place.
Nice Experience. Authentic South Indian Vegetarian food. Chilli parotta was too good. Recommended !!!
