Quality has gone DOWNHILL. Ordene una medíanoche cubano y esto es lo que me dan? Not even Swiss cheese just plain cheap yellow cheese. Either raise the prices or stop false advertising! As a Cuban I’m sad
I came in at like 7:30-7:45 and sat down with my wife and order a bunch of food. No kidding, RIGHT when they served they told me they’re closing. As if I couldn’t see your other worker slamming the seats while she’s cleaning and huffing and puffing around. Next time don’t let me order a big order to just tell me I have to leave with my wife in front of me MINUTES before closing
I did a delivery order. I ordered a Cuban sandwich, different empanadas, and a Jamon croquette. Food was reasonably priced. The Cuban sandwich was good, but the empanadas were a bit oily, and the chicken empanada was dry.
I'm very disappointed with this location. I always have ordered from uber eats and the last three orders this place has forgotten to place my proper order in the bag. Today's order was the last straw, four items were not put in the delivery bag and was charged for it. I can't believe that the lady from the place tells me to order again and she'll place the missing item it. Is she going to pay for it because I'm not. They just lost a loyal customer.
While I was having breakfast in the store a lady came in with her Pitbull dog have her size and almost as strong as her. Not only I am allergic to dogs but they let the dog put 2 paws in the countertop where people make orders, pay, where they sit the food so the customers can come get it, etc. Also, while the dog was in 2 paws on the counter top one of the girls that work there was petting it. Dont get me wrong, nothing against the dogs...I just don't think this an appropriate place to bring a dog, not for 1 minute, not for 5, not at all.
Friendly staff and great food. Not expensive. I recommend the crazy chicken (pollo loco)
For the amount a steak sandwich cost you would figure it would come with lettuce tomato’s etc..... nope you pay extra here for those complementary items anywhere else. First and last food was ahhhh had better!!! Saddest steak sandwich I’ve ever seen!!!!
Although I haven’t gone in person, I definitely want to! I always order through UberEats and they’re one of my favorite Cuban bakeries. The croquettes are the best I’ve had and don’t get me started on the pastelitos de guayaba. Love. Love. Love.
I love this little café, most of the sandwiches are great, and the pastries are excellent. However, one of the most important Cuban classics are Croquetas de jamón. I had Croquetas preparadas sandwich a few weeks ago and it was not very good. Then yesterday I decided to buy the Croquetas apart to see if my taste buds were off the other day. Sadly, I found out they were not. The Croquetas are horrible and have no ham flavor. This appears to be a recipe from the period of starvation known as "Período especial". For me to give this place 5 stars they have to meet the minimum of serving good Croquetas. It is still a great place but this needs to be corrected.
First time there today ; nice place and ambient. Cortaditos were Awesome and I use to live in Miami for 6 years; Also quesitos (pastry) are very good.
