I have been to this location many times but this is my first review. I ordered my meal of the Enchilado de Camarones online and it was about $16. When I arrived I parking in their smaller lot. I walked in and gave the lady my name and my food was ready. When I got in I dug in and the food was very good. They gave a lot of rice, I didn't eat it all. The shrimp was very good and flavored well. I enjoyed it and as usual I will return.
We selected this location because the other one on JFK has a stairs at the entrance, but I had heard that they have good food too. Anyhoo, we weren't disappointed at this location because the service and food was great! We both got a fish but we could easily have shared one and it would have been enough! I love taking pictures by the vintage vehicle at the entrance too!
Whenever I hanging out with the fellas, we like to order the beef, pork and cheese empanadas to go. The place is always crowded so I hope to partake in the sit down experience very soon. Give this place a try if you are ever in North Bergen, NJ. I will update this review once I've had the entire sit down experience. Stay Tuned...
Great option for Hispanic food. They have an affordable lunch menu as well as affordable prices overall throughout the menu. Service is good too. There is on site free parking. The appearance of the restroom can be improved, though. The bill came down to $25 pp including starters, main and coffee.
Great service, delicious food & parking (Valet) and the bonus is an outdoor area to dine with a nice classic car
AWSOME place. Pargo was delicious (the tropical one ), I didn’t have appointment so I had to wait (mostly in a Easter Sunday).
Easy to park, the food was fresh hot and delicious, and I really enjoyed the flan for dessert. A place I would brave rt 3 traffic for again!!
The food was delivered cold. I had to send it back to warm up. My husband churrasco was also cold. Mexican restaurants serve you Churrasco on a skillet and sizzling hot. Also, I am Sorry to say but this place does not serve real Cuban food. The cook must be a different nationality. Cuban food has unique taste and this was not it. The sangria was horrible, didn’t finish it, too dry and no flavor. I’m very disappointed, I used to come here years ago, a lot has changed.
Rhumba is always a good stop for authentic Cuban Cuisine at a very reasonable price. On this particular night ( last minute) for us, it was very busy with take out and the kitchen was overwhelmed. They were closing early as well. We waited a long time for our meal with the entrees coming out before the appetizers. Our waiter gave them to us in the house. This is not the normal for Rhumba. Since it was Christmas Eve, and a last minute for us, I was forgiving. Based on many previous meals here, I would still recommend them for solid Cuban in a fun environment.
Delicious food, fresh. Staff is professional. I cannot stress it enough how Delicious the food is!!! I'm obsessed
