Very nice place , authentic Italian food , very cozy . The service is excellent from the entrance to the your seat . I'm in love with the restaurant
I was on the hunt for a new place to eat and a friend suggested this Italian gem. I went to visit and was not disappointed. This is real authentic Italian food and I’ll definitely be going back. Thank you to Gallo Nero and the team for their hospitality.
The restaurant itself is very beautiful, clean, and cute.The food was delicious, fancy, and authentic. The service by Lou and Miguel Angel was simply incredible and went beyond my expectations. I certainly couldn't have asked for a better place to have my dinner with family.
I loved this restaurant. The food is really amazing. The gentleman who works there, I don't know if he is the owner or an employee, is a very kind and attentive person. The place conveys calm and peace. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat real traditional Italian cuisines.
It's a perfect place to spend with family and friends. The food was outstanding, best in the area and the service provided by Miguel Angel was excellent, he went above and beyond my expectations. Everybody was friendly. I can't wait to go back.
Carpaccio di Manzo, tuna tartare, agnello alla scottadito and squid ink linguine with lobster calamari, mussels and clams fra diavolo… all excellent dishes with wine pairing by our outstanding server Lou. We enjoyed stepping into Italy on Bergenline Avenue.
Visited today for a late lunch w/ my wife and we are going back on Sunday for Mother’s Day with a party of 6 it was so good. Lou (hope I spelled it correctly) is a great hostess. He shared items with us that were not on the menu but that he recommended like the Burrata and it was amazing. He came to the table after our entree was served and offered a white truffle oil for the porcini panchetta pappardelle dish. OMG!!!! It was already good but that oil took it to another level.The ambiance is great in the restaurant especially in the back. The open kitchen is a great touch as well. You couldn’t go wrong if you were in the mood for Italian at Gallo Nero. I am looking forward to Sunday
Absolutely love the food here. Atmosphere, drinks, service…all fantastic. Heard this place was a must go from multiple people so had to check it out & wasn’t disappointed.

Exceptional food & outstanding service! The food here was one of the best dining experiences I had had in a really long time. Authentic Italian food, not that Italian American stuff. The owner made me feel at home upon my entry, the chef came out to say hi. How hospitable. It's the small things that we remember ♡ Will definitely be back!
