Egg Benedict was so good, I'd like to try other menu next time.
This is our stop-by diner. Every time is delicious, the employees are always friendly, and portions are huge what else do you expect:) For years never disappointed I recommend it!
When covid first broke I was in Fairview, from Canada I messaged the establishment directly on messenger regarding my peanut allergy and was assured extra care would be taken to make sure my food was safe ,we also spoke quite a bit after that so with that I'll say I have no idea where some of the folks commenting here come up with "terrible customer service " I thought the service I received was exemplary! I was treated like family!That said the food? It's amazing, the French onion soup is delectable , patty melt is delicious and their cheese and gravy fries are the closest thing my Canadian self could find to poutine in the area and I was not disappointed! They have amazing appetizers and my wife loved their variety of waffles .I've never had a single bad experience with this restaurant and I will also add I'm coming down from Canada in three weeks and I can guarantee without a doubt that the Boulevard Diner is definitely going to be my first stop!You won't find a better diner or such amazing staff like this anywhere in this area.- Nathaniel.
If you’re an old person, one, congrats on making it this far in life. And two, I’d skip this place to be honest.I enjoyed a meatloaf dinner that was average at best… Meatloaf was burnt and smothered in flavorless gravy, while the mashed potatoes and corn had no flavor, even with butter. Great place if you’re watching your sodium intake, but I like eating and living.My mom enjoyed an omelette she described as being “old” (as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours), and my sister enjoyed their chocolate pancake which she enjoyed.Granted, we went at 11pm, and weren’t expecting the best, but didn’t expect such average fare from a NJ diner.
I have to give this place a lot of credit. They are so thorough when I order from them. The food is always delivered timely & it is delicious. I’ve tried a few things from their menu so far, but I’m looking forward to trying some new things too! Definitely recommend!
I wish there was an option of a negative star! I took my family and some of their friends for breakfast, no waiting time but our waitress was very slow and very rude. She took our order with our writing it down. We waiting 15 min before she even came to our table to take our "drinks" after another 15 min she comes back with some drinks and leaves. Another 10 min pass by and then we asked about the reminding drinks and she said they didn't have them. Another 10 min to get the food order, 30 min later food comes out cold and missing orders. When I told her about it she gave me a nasty attitude. Spoke to the manager but nothing was done. Food Was still missing and we basically didn't eat anything. We paid and left. Had to take my kids and their friends to eat somewhere else!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE..WORST MISTAKE EVER!!!!
This diner has the best french fries with cheese and brown gravy. Friendly staff, quick service with great food and an extensive menu. Whatever you’re craving, this is the place to dine.
The place was pretty empty when I was there so there was no wait for service however I ordered a bagel and lox sandwich for lunch the bread was a little bit stale and some of the vegetables were not the greatest I didn't mention anything to the waiter I just didn't eat those vegetables and put aside the other half of the bagel. There's plenty of parking there and the staff seem nice. I usually do not frequent that particular place and most likely will not go back. The person I was with did not have any issue with their food so I'm going to say that it was just my meal that didn't work out! Nonetheless I'm giving the place three stars.
We were seated right away and everything was going good until our drinks arrived to our table. Our waiter was very nice but when was talking something flew out of his mouth and landed in one our waters. We order boneless wings but he brought bone in wings mistakenly and fixed it brought us our boneless wings back out.it was Terrible food quality. It was supposed to be Buffalo sauce but tastes like spaghetti and salsa mixed together. They weren’t even cooked throughly. We didn’t eat anything off of our plates and told the manager (Roberto) that we didn’t like it and wanted to take it off the bill. He proceeded to tell us we have to pay because he cannot take it off since it is policy and the owner isn’t there. He also added that no one has ever complained about their food and said it’s very rude to say you don’t like a restaurants cooking. He also says we have to pay without providing us with a policy stating they can not take anything off of a customer does not like it. We respond by telling him we’re not paying so he calls the cops. The cops arrive and we tell our sides of what happened and the cops tell us we have to pay and come back the following day to get a refund because the owner isn’t there to override anything. If a business is open, shouldn’t the person in charger at the time have the authority to do that so no customer is left unhappy or satisfied? Roberto didn’t even offer us another dish after we said the wings were nasty he just proceeded to tell us we had to pay or call the cops. He was very rude and unprofessional . I highly do not recommend this diner.
Food was meh, service was meh, bathroom was meh. Couldn't even finish. It came out cold, berry compote was too thick, "fries" were neither seasoned nor salted. Orange juice was watered down. Overall not a good experience.
