I love this place. Don't go by how the restaurant looks. The jerk chicken is amazing. The Browning chicken is to die for. All their food is prepared with so much flavor. The oxtails are by far my favorite.. Next time I go I would like to try the fish escaveche.
Saltiest ackee and salt fish ever. Too much pepper. Fry dumplings tough as hell. The cook never boiled the salt out the fish or added too much salt.
I went here today based on reviews. I paid $24 for a large oxtails. The food was so salty… it didn’t even taste good that’s how salty it was. I literally had to throw it away.
I went early today around 11:45AM. There wasn’t a line and the man behind the counter greeted me nicely. I have been craving oxtail for a long time so I googled where to go and this place has the most stars and good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Let me say the smell of the food was old when I received it, the food was not hot, and GREASE was seeping out from the sides of the plate. Not gravy. I tasted one oxtail it was not even warm and it was TOUGH. The rice I had to spit out, and didn’t waste my time trying the cabbage after that. If you want to waste $21 for a small plate then stop here. I thru it out after the first bite & had to go to McDonald’s instead.
Very rare to go to a West Indian food place and they have everything you ask for in stock.The wait was very short and above all else...the food was delish !!!. I had the cowfoot, hubby had the jerk chicken and my son had the oxtails. Each dish was perfect. It was my first time and I was truly impressed, so mush so I left them a tip ? keep up the good ? work!!!
The food is always fresh & yes, TASTY. They have my favorite food squash that keeps me coming back. And the young ladies are courteous & professional. Community Support black own.
Given raw half cook oxtail had to throw away. Man who served me had arrogrant, rough bad attitude. Will never ever go again food was " yuk, awful"!!!!
Very good tasting food. All workers are pleasant and respectful. I want that cook to cook me too lol.
I had this restaurant cater a meal for 10 people. Richie was very helpful and professional. My family loved the Jerk Chicken. We order for future events.
