Unbelievably delicious! Great service!
Excellent delicious food!
The food was amazing and there was excellent service. My friends and I got the shrimp in garlic sauce, which came with two sides of your choice, and the grill chicken. The sweet potato fries were AMAZING had to get seconds. I highly recommend this place. The vibe was very intimate and relaxing with great music. As for drinks, the Brazilian Guaraná soda is a must have. The portion sizes are also very reasonable considering the price.
After arriving at Newark Airport around lunchtime, we decided to visit the nearby historic Ironbound District for some Portuguese food. Based on the reviews, we decided to try Sabor Unido and we're really glad we did.The food, service and the warm, friendly, family vibe were all fantastic. We enjoyed grilled sea bass and squid, both of which were excellent and perfectly prepared - as were our sides of mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and fried yucca! Our server, Letitia, was lovely and professional, and we had the chance to chat for a few minutes with the owners, who treated us like "regulars."Just an all around great experience! We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant ASAP!!!
I cannot recommend this place enough. My friend wanted Brazilian. I did a Google search and said, "let's go here I have a good felling"?? ??? well kudos to my feelin!! What a great place. Food was phenomenal!! And I love Orlando!!! He saw I need to wipe my glasses and came over with a moist towelette!!! And to think we just had tapas!!! So we are definately making this a go to spot!! And next time we start working through the menu one by one. And thank you Orlando for being so attentive... because we definately like attention. ❤?????
A wonderful Portuguese/Brazilian/American fusion cuisine restaurant. A unique dining experience with music and exceptional service. Orlando, the restaurant owner, is a true gentleman; genial and always welcoming. The menu provides unbelievable fare, Saturday especially with feijoada, traditional Brazilian rice and beans experience. I truly wonderful restaurant in our renaissance city of Newark, New Jersey. An unexpected gem. Enjoy.
Food was excellent. Atmosphere outstanding and the staff was so very nice. They have a sign that says come as a guest leave as family and I really felt like family when I left. Do not miss out on this restaurant
Excellent food , cozy atmosphere, very attentive and friendly stuff .. price is very affordable
Restaurant is overcrowded with tables. Was not greeted at the door; young unexperienced waiters. I ordered a seabass and received farmed branzino. Steak was a little to salty. Portions were smaller. But overall food was very good.
Smaller and tight space in terms of dining experience. The restaurant was relatively empty when we arrived at 5pm but by the time we left at 7, there were no empty tables and a couple people were waiting to be seated. Nevertheless, the food and service were excellent and fast. My dish, the shrimp in garlic sauce was outstanding. The sauce was so flavorful. Portions are plenty. I tried the passion fruit caipirinha which I loved! It was unfortunately the only picture I took. Can’t wait to go back!
