We were at Redd's before the Coldplay concert. Service was poor, we waited for one hour for the food and then it was mentioned that they do not have the "Bratwurst" but did not deliver the rest. When we tried to cancel not everything was deleted from the tab - we still paid for two Nacho's we never received. A really terrible experience.

This bar/restaurant is right across the street from the Prudential Center. It's large, picnic tables serve as their tables. The disappointment came first with the prices - way too high for what they were serving. Second with the fact that there is not waitstaff - you order at the bar and then pick up your food when it's ready. Third, food is ok but nothing to write home about. Fourth, I expected a lot more authentic German dishes. We ordered wings, potato pancakes, fish & chips, bratwurst with cheese, pretzel. We did not really taste any cheese in brat. Pretzel was fantastic. Fish & chips meh. Wings were good. Potato pancakes did not seem housemade. It was pretty empty but I can see that it must get really loud when crowded. Great beer menu though!
Excellent food and service. Jose was so welcoming and helpful.Wanted schnitzels so we decided to try this biergarten.Bier Bacon was so good. The slaw was delicious and enhanced the bacon... I don't usually like slaw but I would definitely love to have more of their slaw. ?Jaeger Schnitzel was perfect, it was crispy even after the mushroom demi glaze was spread on top. Spaetzle was really good, most times it's just a mushy mass but these were individual pieces ?Dee’s Kassler Ripchen - Smoked Pork Chop with potato Pancake and red cabbage. The pork chop was really good. The red cabbage was delicious loved it! Hubby loved the potato pancakes but I thought they were more like Hash brown then the usual potato pancake...Will have to go back to try other items!I'm just sad the one closer to us near the Meadowlands does not have a German menu...
Always a blast to come here before the New Jersey Devils games. The beers and drinks are a plenty and the atmosphere is something like I'd never experienced. Always a good time!

was there on April 23 2022 had a few pints with my son and was charged 62.00 left 70.00 went there on April 24 2002 and was charged 40.00 for 2 liters of beer ( 2 drinks) i would have questioned it but the bar was quite busy. i don't understand how i got 5 liters of beer (5 glasses) and 2 half liters and was only charged 62.00 and on April 24 i was charged 40.00 for 2 liters of beer (2 glasses)
Was in town on business and there weren't a lot of choices downtown. Hotel recommended this spot and it didn't disappoint. No frills to be sure, but the staff was great and the food was too. Got pretty crowded after the hockey game let out, but the bartenders kept up.
