Wow wow wow!! If you are looking for authentic West African food to take you on a journey to the motherland, look no further!! I wobbled here 9 months pregnant to get my fix and I am not disappointed, I’ll be back for sure!! The jollof rice with fish was amazing. Beans and plantains with chicken hit the spot. The okra stew with fufu was by far my favorite!! Perfect amount of spice and portions!!
I come here all the time with my husband for Waakye and Jollof with Fish. Today the lady at the front was very rude and I don't understand why. She didn't want to put stew on my rice and was just rude. The lady that's normally in the front was working in the back. I eat this food on the regular so I knew what I wanted and how I wanted it. My husband asked for extra fish and I wanted chicken and fish and she was upset!! Why??!! I paid for what I asked for. Put the nice lady back in the front. I guess because I'm America she thought I didn't know the food. Food is universal. And I'm always happy and willing to try new things but this is not new to me. If I was walking pass and wanted to try the food her attitude would make a person not patronize this establishment. Some people might have questions and need help with the menu. Your not in a all African community you have people of color who eat African food also. And my money spends other places. I'm sure the owner doesn't want to lose a good customer
I was turned off when the girl at the register demanded tips. I was doing a drop by, not dine in. But the issues came with the meat uncooked. I could not chew one piece of that leather. How are you so concerned about tips but can't give me a proper meal?
The food is usually good. Today it gave me diarrhea and I was throwing up. Maybe don't overcharge and serve fresh food
the food was so good, I had my great friends Rey and Jess eat Ghanaian for the first time and they were beyond excited. thank you for your hospitality.
The Ayoyo with riceball is very good. Their fried chicken with white rice and sauce is good too. Their food is good. My family orders from them all the time.
The first order was great ,good food but the second order have an odor & trust I regretted for ordering the food,.THE STANDARD IS CHANGING & MY ORDER WAS NOT RIGHT.IT MAY BE BECAUSE THEY WERE ABOUT TO CLOSE BUT STANDARD HAVE TO BE KEPT TO THE FINISH.
My food was great I love your wakye and fufu you really make my day thank you Nima restaurant team
Scrumptious meals ?.. The number one African Restaurant in the states ?? #NimaAfricanRestaurant?
I wish I could leave a 0 star! I called the restaurant to say I only eat chicken and fish and to make sure that's all they put with my jollof. I got fish, cow stomach and a piece of goat meat. I tried to eat some of the jollof on the side but it was a greasy disgusting mess! I had plantain for dinner. Never again! Bad service worse food!
