I feel like we ate the entire menu and everything was so good! The deviled eggs were the best Iâve ever had!! The cornbreadâdelish. The wings were incredible! Shrimp and grits were perfection! I canât wait to go back!
I feel like we found a hidden gem in Newark!! Great food and service. We had concert tickets and didnât want to do one of the typical restaurant/bars by the Prudential Center. Iâm so happy we ventured a few minutes away. I unfortunately didnât time our reservation well and couldnât stay as long as we would have liked to but will definitely go back next time we are in the area. I had the hanger steak which was delicious! Everyone from the minute we walked in was welcoming and friendly. Canât say enough nice things about this place.
Great experience went here for a date night after another restaurant we had to bail out on and let me just say first The place is beautiful I love the colors and the concept it was so nice so modern our waitress was very sweet very attentive and made sure to recommend the desserts before we left which let me just say their cornbread is out of this world!!!!!! The only thing I will say is that I wish the portions were A bit bigger for example Iâve been to tapas places before but the brown sugar wings which are amazing and taste there were only two of them and itâs nice if you go by yourself but for a date night we had to order twice of those so we can get four wings my other favorite dish was the deviled eggs very good. Overall outstanding experience definitely coming back here soon
Nice spot. Food was good. Drinks were good. Nice vibe for a Wednesday evening.
The service and the food were excellent. One negative we experienced was that the bar was backed up and our drinks arrived after our food. Also, the drinks were weak and not up to the standard I expected at this restaurant.

A little disappointed Presentation was good Food was not Corn bread was super dry Cesar salad virtually no dressing and all breadcrumbs kinda strange maybe I am missing something is this how âsouthern Cesar salad â Fry chicken sandwich was very salty and messy / greasy
I love myself a good ole intimate place to have some good food and drinks and Marcus B & P did not disappoint! From the wonderful greeter Elijah to our warm and knowledgeable waiter Antonio, every thing was so good. My daughter ordered the spicy waffle fries and smash burger. I had the chicken and waffles. For apps we had the corn bread and deviled eggs. 2 cocktails called the âlie detectorâ yum!! I love Still water so we ordered a bottle. And they brought out cold glasses. Perfect, when you donât really like ice! I didnât get the bust-boyâs name but he was adorable and helpful. Iâll definitely be returning soon and I hope to meet Marcus. ð¥°ð PS. The bathrooms are soooo cute!! Ok, bye!
